Early risers will be treated to a trio of planets at the end of the month, a planetary gathering that will continue to put on a show through the beginning of April.
Folks who have been out before daybreak over the past few weeks have likely seen Venus shining bright in the eastern sky before the morning light washes out the views of the stars and planets. Venus will continue to be the focal point for early morning skywatchers at the end of March as two other planets will also swing into the spotlight.

About an hour before sunrise, local time, on Thursday, March 31, Mars, Saturn and Venus will shine in tight formation in the eastern sky, an event that will be visible from anywhere around the world.
Venus will be the brightest of the three, outshining every star and planet in the sky. Saturn will appear in the middle of the trio with Mars glowing on the right side of the celestial formation.
No telescope will be needed to spot the planets as they are all bright enough to see with the unaided eye, but a bit of luck may be required in the form of cloud-free weather.
If cloudy weather is in the forecast for your area Thursday morning, there will still be a few opportunities to see the trio during the opening days of April, although they will appear slightly different than they will Thursday.

Experts say it will be worth working up early on Monday, April 4, and Tuesday, April 5, in order to enjoy views of the planets since Saturn and Mars will appear extremely close to each other.
This two-day event is known as a conjunction and is the first close meeting of these planets since March 31, 2020.
Mars and Saturn will be so close that they will appear in the same field of view of most telescopes, at least for folks who have the energy to set up a telescope before the crack of dawn.

In a staggering defiance of logic, many US politicians are still attacking the lifeblood of our own energy production infrastructure, looking to score political points against “the other team,” blaming price-taking producers of global commodities for gouging, threatening producers of energy with windfall profits taxes, resisting calls to remove bureaucratic hurdles to new production, and refusing to open an introductory physics textbook to help guide them through the suite of policy choices that require true leadership to get right. According to the information received by this source and then filtered for us (to remove any OPSEC details), there are some bombshell developments under way right now inside the deep layers of the Pentagon and the Biden regime. First, inside the Pentagon and even the intelligence community, there is growing consensus that the Biden regime is rapidly putting America on a path of economic destruction and that it must be stopped from within. Thus, the number of people inside the CIA, FBI, DHS, DoD etc. who are now switching hats — from “black hat” to “white hat” — is rapidly expanding.
What I’m told is that many of these people are of course corrupt, greedy bastards, but there are limits of what they will tolerate. They are opposed to the pedophiles running the Biden regime, for example, and they are fully aware of the child trafficking allegations / evidence found on the Hunter Biden “laptop from Hell.”
In addition, they have a pretty good racket going and they don’t want the racket to collapse. This means they need to stop Biden from completely destroying the US dollar and America’s economic system. The Texas Wildfire Incident Response System (TWIRS) said the "Crittenburg Complex Fire" had burned more than 33,175 acres as of 11:50 local time. TWIRS shows multiple wildfires are burning on the northeastern edge of Fort Hood.
Fort Hood is the largest active duty armored base in the U.S. The fort resides on 214,968 acres and can station and train two Armored Divisions. The latest census figures show at least 20,000 live on the base.
Crittenburg Complex fire consists of three wildfires.
The Texas A&M Forest Service warned Monday of "high potential growth" for the fires because of severe drought conditions. Earlier this month, Governor Greg Abbott warned about elevated wildfire risks in the Lone Star State.

Shocking footage is circulating on social media of a massive car crash Monday morning on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, after a crazy snow squall brought visibility for drivers down to near zero.

Those readers who had a cell phone in the late 1990s are all too familiar with these; for everyone else these are basic handsets, or feature phones, with very limited functionality compared to say an iPhone. For the most part, you can typically only make and receive calls and SMS text messages. And, if you are lucky, listen to radio and take very basic photos, but definitely not connect to the internet or apps.
