Morale is a very important part of the Christian soldiers life. Your morale is your willingness to move forward despite the obstacles in your path.

Morale is not about “being in a good mood” or being “upbeat” in life.
Those things change on a daily basis. Morale relates to the zeal, spirit, and commitment you have as you perform your duties.

Guess what the devil has in his sights?

Your morale. Your zeal.
Your commitment to purity, righteousness, and the Word of God…that’s under attack.

National morale. Patriotism.
Your desire to work and fight to build a country that God would be proud of…that’s under attack.

Human morale. Dignity.
The respect for life and the value that God has for every single soul…that’s under attack.

Unit morale. Cohesion.
The ability to work together for GOOD to fight a common enemy that’s EVIL…that’s under attack.

Family morale. Love.
The strength and unity that comes from the deep connections of a Godly family…that’s under attack.

What does the devil want?
He wants to take the fight out of you.
He wants to break your spirit.
“What’s the use?”
“Why continue this?”
“I can’t do this anymore.”
“I give up, it’s pointless.”
That’s demoralization.

Are you demoralized?
Don’t be. Find a merry heart in the LORD Jesus Christ. Let Him be your joy. He will be medicine to your heart.

When you can’t, He can.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
Get with Him. Tell Him.
It. Will. Be. Worth. It. All.
Keep your chin up.
