I'm attempting to teach myself watercolors while my daughter finger paints. This is a medium I have always struggled with because it can easily get overworked.
She reminds me to have fun with it, not take it too seriously, and to not get too upset when I inevitably muddy up the colors. π

When I get an idea for a new piece it always goes so much faster in my mind than it does in reality... but then I remember that is one of the reasons I fell in love with pyrography. It forces me to slow down and stop overthinking. π₯
