Harvard students have renamed several buildings on campus to honour the Palestinian martyrs Sidra Hassouna, Hind Rajab and Shireen Abu Akleh. This is a continuation of their efforts in demanding Harvard University divests from Israeli interests amidst the ongoing genocide.

"This is what me and my daughter have started doing....We are keeping a "Blessing bag" in our car in case we find someone in need. You can make these up with items from Dollar Tree such as gloves, thermal socks, beef sticks, crackers, candy bars, toothpaste, toothbrush, wipes, deodorant, snacks, and other items that may help someone who is homeless or in a bad way. It is just a thoughtful, inspiring thing to do. This is something we are going to start doing from now on. Thank you to the ones that did this long before us, for being such a giving, loving, caring person! Random acts of kindness take very little to change the life of just one person."

*I'm on my lunch break at work. This brought tears to my eyes. When that happens, I know I need to share it with you.
Think of the impact this simple act of compassion makes on the recipient and the daughter of this woman. These small acts of kindness are like pebbles tossed into a pond. The ripple effects are incalculable.❤️⭐️

Brendon Grimshaw bought a small uninhabited island in the Seychelles for £8,000 when he was under forty. The Englishman Brendon Grimshaw left his job as a newspaper editor and started a new life.
Together with Rene Lafortune, Brendon began furnishing his new home. While Rene only came to the island occasionally, Brendon lived there for decades without leaving. All alone.
In 40 years, Grimshaw and Lafortune hand-planted about 15,000 trees and built nearly 3 miles of trails.
Rene Lafortune died in 2007 at the age of 81, leaving Brendon alone.
The island has attracted about 2,000 new species of birds and more than a hundred giant tortoises that were already threatened with extinction elsewhere in the world, including the Seychelles.
Thanks to Grimshaw's efforts, two-thirds of Seychelles' fauna now live on the once deserted island.
A few years ago, a Saudi prince offered Brendon Grimshaw $50 million for the island, but Robinson declined, saying:
"I don't want the island to become a favorite vacation destination of the rich. It's better if it's a national park that everyone can enjoy."
And he was successful, as the island was actually declared a national park in 2008.
Brendon Grimshaw died on July 10, 2012, and his island was placed under state protection.
