🌍 Travel Awards for Early-Career Soil Scientists! ✈️

The International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS) and the Soil Science Society of China (SSSC) are offering travel grants to support early-career researchers attending the 23rd World Congress of Soil Science (23WCSS) in Nanjing, China (7–12 June 2026).

💰 Total funding: USD $40,000
🎯 Up to: $1,000 per awardee (reimbursement for travel and/or registration)
⚖️ Goal: Support gender and geographic diversity among young soil scientists

Who can apply:
🌱 Master’s or PhD students, or graduates within 5 years of completion
🧑‍🔬 Must be presenting author of an accepted abstract for 23WCSS
🌐 Must be a member of a national soil science society that’s part of IUSS
