First offer: 20 LPA Second offer: 22 LPA Final accepted: 26 LPA
40 days. 90 days' notice. Multiple offers give you negotiation power.
What worked for me:
- Set your notice period to 15 days or less.
- Don't resign blindly. Start giving interviews for every call you get.
- Resign only when youโre confident you can crack interviews. (Because with 90 days, most of the time, except for some companies, consider you resign in uncertainty)
- Tell HR your project is ending in 15-20 days, so you can exit early.
- Crack multiple offers. 90 days is not always fixed. Use buyout options or earned leave to reduce it.
- Use personal reason (family/relocation).
- Offer smooth handover, documentation, and KT.
- Negotiate smartly: use offer as leverage, explore buyout, and ask your new employer can reimburse. (MNCs often do.)
- Never settled for the first โyes.โ
And hereโs the real truth: most rejections donโt happen in DSA; they happen in System Design rounds.
