I’ve been part of this mentorship community for a while, even mentored the Flutter track myself. At the time, it was completely free. Despite having a packed schedule and juggling multiple jobs, I still showed up every week, prepared slides, hosted Google Meet sessions, and gave it my full effort.

But here’s the reality: most people didn’t take it seriously. When something is free, people tend to overlook its value. Out of all the students in my track, only two actually completed the mentorship. That was frustrating to see, especially considering the time and energy invested.

So the decision was made to introduce a fee not to make profit, but to create commitment. When people invest financially, they’re far more likely to stay consistent and actually finish what they start.

Also important to know: all payments go directly to Sheira, which is a non-profit organization. This isn’t about money it’s about impact. And for those who genuinely can’t afford it, there are scholarship opportunities available.
