The Software Guy
I think devs are less athletic π€ lets see
Thatβs wild.
43% of devs sitting for hours, barely moving a muscle, debugging apps and calling it a day. this is how careers end early. not because of skill issues, but because ur body quits before ur ambition does.
Back pain. migraines. obesity. High blood pressure. even cancer.
these things donβt knock. They sprint toward u while ur glued to a chair.
As a developer, working out is not optional. Itβs part of the job.
Whatβs the point of grinding for years if ur body is too weak to enjoy the life youβre building?
βNo gym moneyβ is not an excuse.
Home workouts exist. millions of videos exist. Start with one pushup. Just one. Tomorrow do two. Momentum will handle the rest. Once ur consistent, the gym money will magically appear. It always does.
Stop standing there thinking about how to start.
Start walking. Then figure out how to run.
This isnβt a joke post.
This is a sincere message to my comrades.
Move ur body. ur future self is counting on u.

In school, we learnt the "correct" way of doing things, how we should implement our specs using architectures and patterns. But in game dev, the "spec" is an emotion: Is it fun? Does it feel right? To answer that, you have to build for the user's desire first, often at the expense of the code's purity.
In this talk we'll take a look at his journey, learning extremely useful insights and lessons about game dev as well as what creating a game studio thought him about the truth of game dev and user satisfaction as a whole.

FrameCast , a real-time screen casting tool over LAN built with .NET
It captures your screen, compresses frames using JPEG, and streams them to any device on the same local network. Fast, lightweight, and works like a mini AnyDesk for screen sharing.
