Trying to return the habit of drawing occasionally when I have a couple of free minutes. I used to draw much more during my early years at university, I would even do that at classes. I have a lot of interesting sketches from that time period❤️‍🩹

I learned a new shading technique called "cel-shading". The shade edges are sharp here and not blended smoothly. Mostly is used in anime-like styles✨

Continuing to study anatomy.
I found an amazing course on Youtube and the assignment after the lecture was to draw a stylized human figure from memory without references. It was not easy but I am surprised I remembered so much. I want to make anatomy a key feature in my works because it clearly defines you as a pro 🤓

Hiiii today I worked on a human figure studies too. The movement of the body is described by relation of the 3 main masses: head, ribcage and pelvis, and this exercise is aimed to strengthen the understanding of this 👀

I am exploring different rendering methods and stylizations, but drawing characters is more fun than boring objects like cubes and stuff 🫠

I liked this rendering style the most so far!

I have an idea: I want to re-draw an old painting of mine digitally and try to really push myself on making it way better. I will share all the stages that go into it, starting from the gathering of the references and finishing with a completed picture 🤩

So here is my reference sheet for the project! It is very easy to get discouraged at this stage because it seems like the level of art is unachievable. I also have references from the game itself (Subnautica) and photos of real divers.

I did some studies to get into the mindset of the subject and train drawing women a little because I do that worse than men as for now

Hello! I made some initial composition thumbnails, and decided that I will develop variant C. I like the dynamics there and it is also close to the initial idea 🤗
