This ceasefire aims to provide an opportunity for implementing humanitarian and security measures and will commence on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 5:00 PM (Damascus time), lasting until Monday, December 16, 2024.
Key points of the agreement include:
The withdrawal of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and their families from Manbij and its surroundings.
The handover of areas under SDF control to the Sultan Suleiman Shah region and nearby hills.
The continuation of regular water dam services and the withdrawal of all forces from the Tishrin Dam.
The transfer of Tishrin Dam's management to a neutral administration.
All parties have committed to adhering to the agreement to ensure security and stability in the region during this period.
