We are pleased to welcome margaritki - an artistic duet of Olga Zubova and Maria Karpovich, who work at the intersection of research, education, media, sonic and performing arts. The duo mix cultural codes, reflect on memory, shifting between intimacy and collective experience. Sound for them is a way to rethink reality, a space where personal and political, documentary and imaginary can merge.

Somewhere in the intersections of musique concréte, sung improvisation, field recordings and ambient intimacy, there are ‘memories of the faded summer’ - margaritki’s 4-track EP that we are thrilled to share:

summer heat 
grandmother’s lace napkins folded in corners, yellowed edges whispering time
the slow longing, a deep quiet boredom that settles in antique furniture
a fan turning lazily, its hum distant 
idle notes ringing from an old piano
soft metallic tinkle echoing in an empty room 
memory drifting through rooms like dust in sunlight summer becomes nothing more than a faint scent on old linen
and although seasons return, we never return to them’’

Softlink is the alliance of sound designer Lukas Lundh (virtual echo, city x) and guitarist Filip Olin — forged in friendship and a mutual obsession with space, tone, and texture.

‘Your First Life’, the debut EP from Softlink, unfolds as a collection of slow-moving rituals built from droning guitar figures, subtle sound design, and fragments of field recordings. The four tracks are the result of three years of shared listening, experimenting, and slowly discovering a common language. A collection shaped by tone and detail.
