We have some exciting news to share! In our next update for Android and iOS, we're adding a new feature that will allow you to get PRO features for free.

To get PRO for free, you'll need to enable ads and watch them occasionally. We know not everyone likes ads, but we believe this is a great way to support the growth of the app and make it more accessible to everyone.

This feature is likely temporary and will be removed in a future update.

If you want to keep getting PRO features for free, make sure you don't disable ads.

We know that some of you are PRO users and don't want to see ads. We appreciate your support! We'll continue to offer a paid PRO subscription for those who prefer to not see ads.

We have an important update to share with you. In our upcoming update for Android, we will be introducing ads for all users without exception. We understand that this might come as a surprise, and we want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly.

We mentioned earlier that the ability to view adverts in exchange for PRO features may be temporary. This was part of our commitment to making our app more accessible to everyone. Unfortunately, this approach did not yield the significant results we had hoped for. As such, we find ourselves needing to make some changes.

The decision to introduce mandatory advertising is a necessary step for us at this stage. Keeping our app functional, up-to-date and stable requires significant resources. Advertising can give us the means to provide these resources, ensuring that we can continue to improve our app and provide the best possible experience for all our users.

Please note that after the update, if you choose to disable the ads, you will lose access to the PRO features and will not be able to restore it. We understand that this might be disappointing for some, and we appreciate your understanding.

For those who prefer to use the app without adverts, we still offer the option to purchase a PRO account without them.

Never lose a schedule again with Backups!

With Backups, your schedules are securely stored in the cloud and can be restored at any time.

Here's how it works:

• Go to the Pro section.
• Switch on the "Backup" toggle switch and go to the list section.
• Click on + and select the desired schedule as required.
• Come up with a name for your backup and click save.

Your schedules will be automatically backed up to the cloud.
If you lose your phone or delete your schedules, you can restore them from the cloud at any time by tapping on the desired backup and hitting the "Restore" button.

Backups are a great way to protect your schedules from:

• Accidental deletion
• Phone loss or damage
• Software glitches

Live Activities: how it works
Hi everyone! 🙂

We've been getting an unexpectedly high number of questions in support lately about why the Live Activities widget doesn't switch to the next event.

Live Activities is not a regular widget. It works a little differently than other widgets on your phone.

For Live Activity to work, you need to:

- Be in the Smart Timetable app.
- At the same time, an event from your schedule must be taking place, i.e. the event must be "Live".

This is why the widget is called "Live Activities" - it shows you information about what's happening right now.

For the same reason, the widget cannot automatically switch to the next event.
That's why the timer with expired time stays on the lock screen. So you can easily tap on it to open the app and start a new Live Activity for the next event on your schedule.
