The Market Doesn’t Owe You Anything

I want you to understand something that can completely change the way you approach trading.

The market doesn’t owe you a trade.

It doesn’t care how much you need to make today, how badly you want to pass an evaluation, or how much money you lost yesterday.

The market is going to do what it does regardless of your expectations.

And the moment you understand that, your trading starts becoming much simpler.

A lot of traders sit in front of the charts thinking:

“I need to make money today.”
“I need to recover yesterday’s loss.”
“This setup has to work.”

That pressure changes your behavior.

You start forcing trades.

You start taking setups that don’t fully meet your criteria.

You start moving your stop because you don’t want to accept the loss.

You stop following your system and start trading your emotions.

Your job isn’t to make money every time you open the charts.

Your job is to follow your framework, wait for your conditions, execute when your setup appears, and stay out when it doesn’t.

Some days the market will give you a beautiful opportunity.

Some days it won’t give you anything.

Both are completely fine.

A professional trader doesn’t need to participate in every move. They understand that their edge only exists under specific conditions, and they’re willing to wait until those conditions appear.

No forcing. No chasing. No revenge trading.

Read the market.

Wait for your setup.

Execute your process.

And when there’s nothing there, walk away.

You don’t need the market to give you money today. You need to be disciplined enough to take advantage when your opportunity comes.
