EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
This Employment Agreement is made on the __ day of __ 20_.
BETWEEN
NIKTECH WORLD ENGINEERING CO. LTD, a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Uganda, with its registered office at ________, hereinafter referred to as "the Employer",
AND
Mr. Twijukye Papius, National ID No. ____, of P.O. Box/Address ________, hereinafter referred to as "the Employee."
1. APPOINTMENT
The Employer hereby appoints the Employee as Site Supervisor. The Employee accepts the appointment and agrees to faithfully perform the duties assigned under this Agreement.
2. COMMENCEMENT
This Agreement shall take effect on //20___.
3. PLACE OF WORK
The Employee shall be deployed to any project site, office, or location designated by the Employer within Uganda.
4. DUTIES
The Employee shall:
- Supervise construction works and site operations.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.
- Safeguard company equipment and property.
- Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Employer.
5. WORKING HOURS
The Employee shall work according to the Employer's official working schedule and project requirements.
6. REMUNERATION
The Employee shall receive a gross monthly salary of UGX __, payable monthly, subject to all applicable statutory deductions.
7. PROBATION
The Employee shall serve a probationary period of __ months. Upon satisfactory performance, the appointment may be confirmed in writing.
8. LEAVE
The Employee shall be entitled to annual leave, sick leave, maternity/paternity leave where applicable, and public holidays in accordance with the Employment Act of Uganda and the Employer's policies.
9. CONFIDENTIALITY
The Employee shall not disclose any confidential information relating to the Employer's business, clients, finances, projects, or operations during or after employment without written authorization.
10. COMPANY PROPERTY
All equipment, documents, tools, vehicles, drawings, laptops, and other property entrusted to the Employee shall remain the property of the Employer and shall be returned upon termination of employment.
11. DISCIPLINE
The Employee shall observe all lawful instructions, company policies, and site regulations. Any misconduct shall be handled in accordance with the Employment Act of Uganda and the Employer's disciplinary procedures.
12. TERMINATION
Either party may terminate this Agreement by giving the required notice or payment in lieu of notice as provided under the Employment Act of Uganda. The Employer may summarily dismiss the Employee for gross misconduct as permitted by law.
13. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Employer and the Employee and supersedes any prior verbal or written arrangements relating to the Employee's employment.
