It seems that development in whatever Mason Lindroth's next game is, is going pretty well. From Lindroth discovering the unlimited potential of Blender's Geometry Nodes, to Salamone introducing lyrics to its soundtrack, I can already tell this is going to…
So it's finally out! Absent Moon is a strong conceptual album in its own right and an even stronger entry in the Hylics universe due to its heavy lore dump. Recounting the events and emotions that occurred between the first and second games, the themes of friendship, duality, and eternity are once again revisited, providing hints of what may come next. Chuck Salamone hits it out of the park with his music production, the clever use of leitmotifs, his fantastic vocal range, and his decision to invite streamer Vinny Vinesauce to be the official/unofficial voice of Wayne. Furthermore, Diane Aragona, Salamone's wife, is a great addition, providing her beautiful soprano voice as backing. Overall, Absent Moon is a strong album that adds depth to the Hylics universe and also a highly enjoyable listening experience.

Starfield is the most ambitious video game project ever made. However, this comes with the burden of being a Bethesda production, known for that ambition drowning in the technical complexity of its systems. Great storytelling should be the focus, from which gameplay can then latch on. Fallout: New Vegas, a title that Bethesda fails to acknowledge, has taught the world how to create such a memorable experience. I will wait with bated breath to see if Starfield's launch is the next step in video game development, or just another hyped marketing ploy.
