Hey there, @breadmaker over here.

Here you will find slices of what I do, what I think and what I enjoy.

My hope is that you find something that inspires you or brings you joy, filling a part of you that you never knew needed it.

Cheers!

After a long wait along with my benefactor, downloading 5+ GB of content, I can confirm the Abandoned "Realtime Experience" Teaser is exactly the same video as showed in the promotional tweet (except for the Yamaoka-esque music). At this point, I don't even know what to think, or this is the most elaborated Kojima prank ever, or the BBGS developers got caught in the snowball effect and now they can't stop.

The Chamber of Deputies approved on Wednesday a bill for the protection of the "neuro-rights" or rights of the brain and mind, thus giving full sanction to be enacted as law.
Chile seeks to anticipate realities that until now have hardly been thought of in the world of science fiction films, where neurotechnology and human beings cross paths.
Some of the neuro-rights that this regulation seeks to protect are personal identity, free will, mental privacy, equitable access to technologies for increasing cognitive capacity and combating algorithmic biases.

The end of an era.
Combining the cuteness of Japanese pop idols with the chirps and growls of dubstep, chibi-tech amalgamates an unbelievable one-off through the power of chiptune.
This project started out of a debate on whether the NES was capable of doing the roaring bass of dubstep. Using actual hardware, sequencing everything on Famitracker, and doing no post-processing, apart from the basic mixing and mastering, Jaelyn was able to create something truly magical. She even made a story for the two-track single.
You can learn more details about this, and grab the music for free, in her Bandcamp.
An Adepts Home - Piano Demo
BreadMaker
As part of my unwinding activities for the weekends, I'm returning once again to FL Studio. However, I don't think I'm ready to compose yet, that's why I started by making a piano demo of An Adepts Home, from Golden Sun. It's a little rough around the edges, but I think it's a good start for trying to compose a remix out of this. Let's see how far I take it.
Metroid Dread achieves what many believed impossible. it gives a breath of fresh air to the already spent Metroidvania genre, and It redeems and elevates the saga above and beyond. It balances flawlessly between exploration and action, and it satisfactorily rewards those who dedicate themselves to it. it's weird to say this 20-year-in-the-making video game is a serious contender for Game of the Year, but it actually is. This game is worth every single penny. https://youtu.be/Fo5JOpXnk5M
I just finished watching Dune: Part One. My mind refuses to believe what I just witnessed, but my thumping heart says otherwise. A true masterpiece.

After months of applications, referrals, rejections, maybes, and a surprisingly long selection process, I finally landed a job, and with that I can leave my freelancer and advisory days behind, for now. I'm looking forward to finally having a proper schedule…
After three months, I have renewed my contract with the company, now for an indefinite period. Hard work has really paid off. Now that I have a relative understanding of the scope and complexity of my work, I can once again define goals for myself and better manage my expectations. As some may have noticed (or not), my participation as a moderator has increased slightly, although do not expect the levels of involvement that I had previously.
Unfortunately, in these months, between the time spent to educate myself, study and research about what I need to know to better carry out my work, the recreational activities to disconnect and prevent burnout and the time spent doing nothing to rest my mind, I missed the recently closed GIF reaction contest that I intended to participate in.
Consider these my public apologies to those who were excited to see how far I could push the medium. In addition, and considering the activity of the group, there are certainly people with more free time, technical expertise and/or deserving of the prizes to be distributed. I congratulate them and the patient work of the judges in advance.
As for my other personal projects, I look forward to sharing some good news with you in the coming months. Thanks for taking the time to read this far. Have a nice day.
I am amazed and disappointed to learn how fear can twist sanity. Change has never been easy, I say this from my own experience, so breaking the oppressive status quo imposed by fire and sword will indeed be a challenge. However, I already prepare myself for whatever may happen.
