🚀 Introducing SecDirectory: The Central Index for Ethiopian InfoSec Communities
Finding high-quality, local cybersecurity communities is now more accessible. SecDirectory is officially live as the premier directory for Ethiopian InfoSec, Bug Bounty, OSINT, and Red/Blue Team Telegram channels and groups.
What is SecDirectory?
SecDirectory (@SecDirectory) is a curated, spam-free updates channel designed to connect professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts across Ethiopia's cybersecurity landscape.
Features:
Real-Time Updates: Discover new and verified local cybersecurity communities as soon as they are added.
Verified Quality: Every submission is reviewed to ensure active links and relevant content.
Specialized Domains: Easily find groups focused on CTFs, Penetration Testing, OSINT, and specialized security fields.
Submit a Community
If you manage or know of an active Ethiopian cybersecurity channel or group, you can submit it for inclusion via our automated bot:
Open @SecDirectoryBot
Send the /add command
Provide the community link and follow the prompts
Once submitted, the bot automatically retrieves the metadata and sends it to our administration team for review. Approved submissions will be published directly to the directory feed.

Yo... it's me
Been putting off making this channel for way too long. Kept telling myself "next month" for like actual months lol
Not tryna flex, not larping as some elite hacker either. I mess up more than I get it right, still get stuck on stuff that's probably basic to other people, still google things I "should" know by now. That doesn't stop just cause I made a channel
Honestly I could just keep all this in my notes app and never show anyone. But I figured maybe some other student out there grinding CTFs at 1am, getting rejected on bug bounty reports, feeling behind... maybe seeing someone else go through it too makes it less lonely. That's really it. Not looking for clout, just don't wanna do this whole thing quietly
Still in school. Still slow at this. Still showing up anyway
Not gonna pretend I know where this goes. Maybe in a couple years I look back at this and cringe, maybe I look back and see how far I came. Either way it's getting documented
If you're earlier in this than me we're the same. If you're further ahead teach me something lol😭
Let's get into it 😛

was just trying to build a CV and ended up opening Burp instead... one thing led to another and boom, found a way around a paywall and got the CV out.

go check it out if you enjoy random little bugs and the stupid ways we somehow end up finding them 😂

Hacked NASA..... Ethically Ofc..... :)
@n3himy4m3sfin is back with an exciting finding on nasa.gov website....
While testing the NASA Website, I came across an interesting WordPress REST API exposure.
Without authentication, the application was revealing its API namespaces, routes, methods, parameters, and even some custom functionality.
Nothing dramatic by itself.
But in cybersecurity, even small pieces of information can help you understand the bigger picture. 🔎
For me, that's the real fun of ethical hacking.... looking closer, learning, and finding what others might overlook.....
Sometimes, you find something interesting where you least expect it.... 👀
