🥳 How we celebrated Skoltech students' international friendship during International Night.
This year, students from 16 countries took part in the event. Traditionally, the teams demonstrated their national costumes, shared interesting facts about their countries, and cooked their traditional dishes. The menu was comprised of Italian pasta, Russian borscht and blini, Chinese dumplings, and many other delicious dishes.

⚡️ We’re excited to announce applications for the Skoltech Summer School of Machine Learning in China!
SMILES-2025 will take place at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) from July 14–27, focusing on generative methods in AI. The program dives into large language models, multi-agent systems, safe AI, and generative techniques in computer vision. Expect lectures from top experts like Evgeny Burnaev, Alexander Korotin, and Andrey Kuznetsov.
Running for 12 days, the school combines lectures, seminars, and hands-on project work. We’ve lightened the lecture schedule this year to give you more time for projects and exploring Chinese culture. We’ll select 100 in-person participants and up to 300 online attendees—students, PhD candidates, and early-career AI researchers from Russia and China. The working language is English.
Participation is free: organizers cover flights, meals, and accommodation in China.
Selection for both formats is competitive. Apply by April 20!
