🔹Russian Troops attacked enemy targets in several regions of the so-called #Ukraine, using drones of the “Geranium” family. Explosions also occurred in the #Kharkov, #Cherkassy and #Odessa regions.
🔹Ukrainian Drones attacked 6 Russian regions. The main blow fell on the #Volgograd region, where the #Marinovka Airfield came under fire. Later, the AFU launched a missile at the port of #Kavkaz. A ferry carrying tanks of fuel was hit there.
🔹In the #Kursk region, Ukrainian formations launched a series of attacks to the east and south of #Korenevo. In this area the AFU reached #Komarovka, but the regional centre (#Korenevo) remains firmly under the control of the RFAF. 🟡 From 17 to 23 August 2023, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out 16 group strikes by high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against airfield infrastructure, depots storing ammunition and missile and artillery munitions, repair facilities for AFU weapons and military hardware as well as hangars for storing the NASAMS surface-to-air (SAM) missile systems.
🟡 Over the past week, the Sever Group of Forces have carried on an operation to neutralise AFU units in Kursk region. In the past week, enemy losses in the Sever Group’s AOR have included up to 3,090 troops, 29 tanks, 167 armoured fighting vehicles, including four infantry fighting vehicles and one U.S.-made M113 armoured personnel carrier, 75 motor vehicles, seven MLRS launchers, including those made in the USA, and 32 field artillery guns.
🟡 Deputy Defence Minister Colonel General Viktor Goremykin presented state awards to veterans of special military operation in Vishnevsky Hospital.
🟡 The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to repel the AFU attempt to invade the territory of the Russian Federation. The Russian Defence Ministry shows an Iskander-M system, a Mi-28NM helicopter, an Su-34 multipurpose aircraft, and Lancet loitering munition in action in the border area of Kursk direction. 🌏 General Director of Oboronlogistics Lukyanov told RIA Novosti that the ferry crossing across the Kerch Strait will operate despite attacks and shelling from #Ukraine;
🌏 Indian Prime Minister Modi arrived in #Ukraine on Friday and said there that he was personally ready to contribute to ending the conflict in #Ukraine, and also called on the parties to the conflict to find a path to its end together.

🔴 In #Konstantinovka - we continue to put pressure on the enemy not only in small groups.
🟡 Since the beginning of the week, we have been moving forward slowly.
🔴 In #Krasnogorovka - the task at the moment is to stretch the enemy's forces along the flanks.
🔴 In #Karlovka - the positions of the AFU are disappearing before our eyes. House by house, with daily blows.
🟡 The enemy's ability to hold on is drying up before our eyes. We are clearing the boundaries we have taken.
🔴 At #Kalinovo - assault groups of the RFAF are on the approach.
🔴 To #Marinovka - the enemy has transferred fresh forces, trying to strengthen the defence in this settlement.
🔴 To #Novogrodovka - the enemy managed to transfer fresh forces, which slightly held back our advance.
🟡 The antidote is already ready - we are pulling up additional artillery.
🔴 #KrutoyYar, #KrasnyYar, #Nikolayevka - there are battles in the villages, they have not yet gained a foothold, but have confidently entered the boundaries of the settlements.
🔴 #Grodovka -is still formally considered to be in #Ukraine. Here the enemy carried out rotations, using residential buildings for defence.
🟡 Combat work is underway. It has not yet been possible to immediately encircle #Grodovka; the pressure on the enemy is growing proportionally.

🟡 President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the commanders of the Joint Force grouping at one of the Defence Ministry's command posts and received reports from Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov and Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff Sergei Rudskoy, on efforts to counter the enemy forces that invaded the Kursk Region and measures taken to destroy them, as well as on the ongoing results of the special military operation.
🟡 As a result of the negotiation process, 115 Russian servicemen who were taken prisoner in Kursk region have been returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.
🟡 Units of the Tsentr Group of Forces improved the tactical situation and inflicted losses on formations of the AFU 32nd, 53rd, 110th mechanised brigades, 25th Airborne Brigade, 111th, and 129th territorial defence brigades near Vozdvizhenka, Kirovo, Rozovka, Zelyonoye Pole, Grodovka, and Sergeyevka (Donetsk People's Republic).
🟡 The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to repel the AFU attempt to invade the territory of the Russian Federation. The Russian Defence Ministry shows mobile artillery reconnaissance system crew, Molniya fixed-wing UAV operators, Ka-52 crew, Mi-28NM crew in action in the border area of Kursk direction. Objective control footages confirmed that one AFU tank and several AFU armoured vehicles neutralised in the area.
