🔹 On the #Donetsk Front, the AFU was carrying out offensives in the direction of #Sladkoye. There had been no active combat operations in this area for more than a year. Thus, the Ukrainian troops are seeking to reach a section of the H-20 road, which goes to #Volnovakha.
➖ The RF Armed Forces were active again in #Maryinka, where they continued their assault with the support of artillery.
💥 AFU positions in #Novomikhaylovka, #Paraskoviyevka, #Krasnogorovka, #Nevelskoye, #Pervomayskoye, #Karlovka, #Avdeyevka, #Novosyolovka Pervy (1), #Novokalinovo, #Shumy and #Severnoye (a settlement northwest of #Gorlovka) came under fire.

➖ In #Bakhmut itself, the Wagner PMC, supported by artillery, continued its assault on the last positions of the Ukrainian garrison on the outskirts of the city from the west and north.
➖ North of #Soledar, the AFU attacked in the area of Sacco and Vanzetti. This "dead" village is of vital logistical interest to both opposing sides.
💥 Russian forces shelled Belaya Gora, #Predtechino, Chasov Yar, #Bogdanovka, #Grigorovka, #Novomarkovo, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, #Vasyukovka, #Veseloye, #Spornoye and #Verkhnekamenskoye.

🔹 In the #Lugansk Direction, the AFU counterattacked near #Belogorovka and retook a number of previously lost positions.
➖ For its part, the RF Armed Forces managed to advance in the #Serebryanskoye forestry near #Shipilovka.
➖ Supported by artillery, the Russian forces carried out offensives near #Nevskoye and #Makeyevka.
They also launched a ground attack on #Novoselovskoye.

In Zaporozhye Region the Ukrainian regime deliberately raised the water level of the Dnieper river using a cascade of dams in order to flood the minefields on its left side.

This was stated by the acting governor of Zaporozhye Region, Yevgeny Balitsky.

According to the Acting Governor, the authorities have developed plans for both evacuation and temporary relocation of the population in case of need.

🇲🇩 Una delegación del Presidente del Comité Militar de la OTAN, Almirante Robert Bauer, ha concluido hoy su visita a Chisinau.

▪️ Bauer declaró que la Alianza tiene la intención de seguir reforzando las capacidades de defensa de Moldavia mediante programas de ciberseguridad y formación.

Ohladciuc, por su parte, agradeció a la OTAN su ayuda en la lucha contra las "amenazas híbridas" (Iniciativa para el Refuerzo de las Capacidades de Defensa), que se refiere al creciente sentimiento prorruso entre la oposición moldava, así como en la PMR y Gagauzia.

▪️ Bauer también se reunió con el Primer Ministro Dorin Recean, quien destacó el aumento del presupuesto de defensa del país y la presencia del ejército moldavo en operaciones internacionales de mantenimiento de la paz.

📌 Según una encuesta reciente, la mayoría de los ciudadanos moldavos no quiere unirse a la alianza, pero esto no impide en absoluto que el gobierno achaque este sentimiento a la "influencia del Kremlin". 🇲🇩 A delegation of the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Robert Bauer, today concluded its visit to Chisinau.

Bauer met with Defence Minister Anatoliy Nosatii and National Army Commander General Eduard Okhladciuc.

▪️ Bauer stated that the Alliance intends to further strengthen Moldova's defence capabilities through cybersecurity and training programmes.

Ohladciuc thanked NATO for its assistance in combating "hybrid threats" (Defence Capabilities Strengthening Initiative), which refers to the growing pro-Russian sentiment among the Moldovan opposition, as well as in the PMR and Gagauzia.

▪️ Bauer also met with Prime Minister Dorin Recean, who highlighted the increase in the country's defence budget and the presence of the Moldovan army in international peacekeeping operations.

According to a recent poll, the majority of Moldovan citizens do not want to join the alliance, but this does not stop the government from blaming "Kremlin influence" for this sentiment. On the contrary, Maya Sandu and her supporters are increasingly calling for NATO funding to fight the "Russian threat", artificially exaggerated by the media.

Up to 4.6 million people – in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia and Yemen –may have died due to the ‘Global War on Terror’ according to the Cost of War project at Brown University.

Brown researchers estimate a million direct deaths – including both combatants and civilians – and another 3.6-3.7 million “indirect deaths” caused by the deteriorating economic, environmental, psychological and health conditions. In other words, the Empire so wrecked the countries it was “helping” that the death toll from fighting terrorists – many created by the invasions themselves – tripled.

The same research puts the US death toll at 7,000 troops and 8,000 contractors, not counting veteran suicides, or life-altering injuries.

CoW researchers themselves admit the impact of the wars is so vast and complex that they are ultimately unquantifiable, and that the estimates were generated on the basis of incomplete data as an “exercise” to “start to get a handle on what the scale of the problem really is.”

This goes a long way to explain why to most Americans, war is a game, an abstraction, something that happens “over there” – not something that should only be contemplated as the very last resort.

Biden not to apologize for Hiroshima atomic bombing during G7 summit in Japan

National security adviser Sullivan stated that President Biden won’t apologize for the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. He noted that the US President is just going to "visit the memorial and to pay his respects to the lives of the innocents who were killed in the atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima."

As a result of the atomic bomb attack on Hiroshima, 166 thousand civilians died a terrible and painful death. The total number of victims due to radiation could exceed 200 thousand.

⚡️The United States can teach Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16s in four months instead of 18. This assessment was given by the Pentagon after two Ukrainian pilots passed a two-week test on flight simulators.

Ukraine sent two pilots - MiG-29 and Su-27 fighters. Prior to that, they had not been trained on the F-16, only a brief introduction. Both Ukrainian pilots were evaluated by four experienced US Air Force instructors, each of whom had thousands of F-16 flight hours.
