🇺🇦 The AFU Offensive has begun. On the front there is still only reconnaissance fighting, but already with local successes. In the media field 404 is also beginning to act, trying to intimidate and confuse both civilians and our fighters. The only way to resist is to pull together and endure, ignoring the media noise.

⚔️ The Situation on the Fronts over the past Day:

🔹#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:

Near #Kremennaya without much change, positional fighting continues. But our fighters lose no time - especially snipers who skilfully clear the strongholds from the enemy.
➖ Russian forces, supported by artillery, attacked militant positions near #Belogorovka and #Makeyevka.
➖ In addition, our forces attempted to advance near #Stelmakhovka and #Masyutovka.

🔹#Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) Sector:

▪️The "Orchestrators" 👉 continue to storm the western outskirts of #Artyomovsk. In the northwest of the city, ours have advanced along Tolbukhin, Medvedev and Chernyakhovsky Streets. Also under the control of the "Orchestra" positions around the intersection of Zashchitnikov and Levanevsky Streets. To the south, ours reached 1st forest street.
➖ At the same time, the AFU intensified on the flanks and went on the offensive in several areas. The militants occupied several strongholds. In addition, in the area of #Bogdanovka, ours lost several square kilometres.

🔹#Donetsk Direction:

➖ The Russian army is trying to break through the militants' defences west of the H20 section near #Novobakhmutovka.
➖ Positional fighting continues to the east of the sand pit.
➖ Also, ours expanded the zone of control from the direction of #Opytnoye.

💥 Russian Air Defence shot down an Ukrainian Su-25 near Chervony Mayak in #Kherson region.

📌 Despite our 👉 earlier reports of an approach to #Avdeyevka from the south, Rybar's team clarified the frontline: Russian forces are blockading the fortification from the southwest, south, east and northeast. The AFU base south of #Avdeyevka is under enemy control, and our assumptions about its occupation by the Russian Armed Forces have not been confirmed.

If events develop as we wrote yesterday , this is the best scenario for us and the worst for the occupiers.
Apparently, according to all the laws of military art, the command of the Armed Forces felt the enemy's weak points and began to implement its plan. It must be said, the orcs did not particularly hide their weak points - the flanks, the handsome man shouted in all interviews.
Yesterday's attack of the 3rd OSHBR was operationally a reconnaissance battle - to see the enemy's reaction to our activity on the flanks. Instead of a military erection, the enemy showed us complete tactical impotence on his flanks.
Naturally, under such conditions, Syrskyi began implementing the same tactics in the Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, and Khromov areas, which produced results.
But there are moments that are alarming. For example, that so far the results of the retreat of the occupiers have not been reflected even in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 18:00 on May 11, and that the main source of information regarding the advance on the flanks was the statements of the pro-Prigoghin channels "Russians" and their maps (!). Which raises certain questions, and are we being fed this on purpose? And so far, none of the units, with the exception of the 3rd OSHBR yesterday, has announced the capture of the areas left by the Orks in the Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, and Khromov areas. Moreover, these are areas of action of other brigades.
We are waiting for official confirmation from our sources, otherwise it looks like a telegram victory.

So far, we have had tactical success. A number of enemy observation points, military checkpoints and trenches were cleared.

Avdiyivka

Pervomaiske, the direction of Nevelsky-Severny - very difficult.

The enemy resumed assaults from Novobakhmutivka to the north. Without success.

We hold.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 El Ministerio de Defensa ruso negó todos los datos sobre la escalada en el frente (¡por fin informes en directo sobre los acontecimientos en los frentes!).

Pero confirmó una ofensiva local de las AFU "en dirección al asentamiento de Maloyilinovka".

📌 Malo-Iljinovka se encuentra, según antiguos mapas del Estado Mayor, a 1 km al noreste de Yagodne, en el límite norte de Bakhmut. Desde las afueras de Bohdanivka, donde, según el PMC de Wagner, tuvo lugar la ofensiva de las AFU, hay más de 6 km hasta Malo-Ilyinivka.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 The Russian Defence Ministry denied all data on the escalation on the front (finally live reports on the developments on the fronts!).

But it confirmed a local AFU offensive "in the direction of the settlement of Maloyilinovka".

📌 Malo-Iljinovka is located, according to old General Staff maps, 1 km northeast of Yagodne, on the northern edge of Bakhmut. From the outskirts of Bohdanivka, where, according to Wagner's PMC, the AFU offensive took place, it is more than 6 km to Malo-Ilyinivka.

Thus, the Russian Ministry of Defence at least confirmed the fact of active combat operations and an attack on the group's flank at the location indicated by the military correspondents of Wagner's PMC.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦It has been an interesting day today. Among Russian warbloggers and media a lot of rumours have been spread. These rumours became fast worse and worse. After a short while there where actually some kind of panic. Many different sources said that UkrAF had started the Counteroffensive and broken through russian defence lines on many places and that Bakhmut was encircled by the ukrainians.

All these rumours where strengthened by the way russian media and bloggers use Telegram. Everybody shares each others information so together that can create a storm of false information.

During the evening russian bloggers and media suddenly realised that nothing extraordinary happened today. There where a lot of ukrainian probing attacks all along the front. More than usual, but nothing on a large scale. So the panic subsided and everybody laughed relieved at all others who fell for the rumours, even if they also fell victim to the panic.

Yesterday and last night ukrainian forces made some progress SW of Bakhmut. North of Khromove they retook a minor area east of Bohdanivka. RuAF on the other hand took a small area north of Khromove, substantial areas in SW Bakhmut and some minor areas west of Kruta Balka on the eastern part of the Avdiivka salient. But today no changes on the front has been reported. From the Wagner group came the usual claims of capture of 60 000m2 without area specifications.

The most interesting thing today are the nervousness of many russian war bloggers and journalists. Had they been more sure of themselves they wouldn't have fallen pray so easily to today's panic. I believe many are disappointed of the lack of advances from the RuAF during the winter and albeit they hope that the stalemate at the front are due to successful russian attrition warfare, they still doubt it a bit, fearing that the real reason are ineptitude in the russian military.

Many on the russian side probably need one clear undisputed victory to become less nervous. Until then new panic might again very well appear regularly.

I repeat the famous phrase from the Russo-turkish war in 1877; "Everything is calm at Shipka", at least for the time being

🔹 In the #Ugledar Section, the RF Armed Forces shelled #Novopol, #Novosyolka, #Vremevka, #Prechistovka, #Novoukrainka and the city itself. (Fig. 1)

🔹 On the #Donetsk Front, Russian forces supported by artillery carried out offensives near #Novomikhaylovka, within the city limits of #Maryinka and near #Avdeyevka. In the latter case, they changed the direction of attack from southwest to east from the area of Krutaya Balka. This has brought certain success, there is some progress.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine commented on the delivery of Storm Shadow missiles and expressed the hope that Russian conscripts will be able to learn the basics of geometry.

Sun Tzu wrote 3,000 years ago that "all warfare is based on deception." This is no less true today. Probably more, actually, what with almost all-seeing ISR and social media to disseminate psyops.

It's easy to dismiss media manipulations as inferior to physical weapons. Sure, PR warfare aimed at the gullible Western public on social media isn't going to change much in a mud pit somewhere northwest of Donetsk. But deception can be — and has been — applied on the tactical level as well. Napoleon's departure from the Pratzen Heights at Austerlitz is but one example.

All too many of us observe the war the way people watch sports, forgetting it's not a game. It's hell. I retain awareness of this, having been in one, and even I get carried away sometimes.

🔥🇵🇰 Liberación de Imran Khan de la custodia

La situación en Pakistán sigue siendo turbulenta: la gente continúa protestando y moviéndose hacia la zona del gobierno de Islamabad , y las unidades del ejército están estacionadas en las ciudades.

🔥🇵🇰 Imran Khan's release from custody.

The situation in Pakistan remains turbulent: people continue to protest and move towards the government area of Islamabad , and army units are stationed in the cities.

Pakistan's Supreme Court ruled today that the detention of former Prime Minister Imran Khan was illegal. The former head of the republic was released with security assurances.

Immediately afterwards, mechanised units, probably 111 brigades, began arriving at the courthouse. Accumulations of heavy armoured vehicles are increasingly visible in the capital.

According to pro-Pakistan sources, in the context of Khan's release, the military command is ready for radical actions to preserve the current order.

🔻 A purge has begun in the ranks of the Pakistan Army: commanders and military officers who refused to comply with the order to suppress the protests by force are being removed from the ranks of the armed forces.

The recognition of the former prime minister's arrest as illegitimate further battered the reputation of the current party and military leadership. They are now trying with all their might to change the approach by threatening opposition journalists.

The British-backed Shahbaz Sharif administration is unlikely to admit defeat. With a high degree of probability, some calm in Pakistan is only a temporary event.

Remember, both Saddam Hussein and Moammar Gaddafi were leaders who had essentially taken initiatives to de-dollarize oil trade and also taken initiatives to de-dollarize more widely. And these people were destroyed because of that, there is absolutely no doubt that the United States will try to hamper this process”: professor at the University of Manitoba Dr. Radhika Desai explains how the US has already fought wars over initiatives to de-dollarize.

The Russian Investigative Committee is preparing to put the International Criminal Court judges who issued arrest warrants for Vladimir Putin and children's ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova on a wanted list — head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin said at the St Petersburg International Legal Forum.
