🇺🇦 The AFU Offensive has begun. On the front there is still only reconnaissance fighting, but already with local successes. In the media field 404 is also beginning to act, trying to intimidate and confuse both civilians and our fighters. The only way to resist is to pull together and endure, ignoring the media noise.

⚔️ The Situation on the Fronts over the past Day:

🔹#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:

Near #Kremennaya without much change, positional fighting continues. But our fighters lose no time - especially snipers who skilfully clear the strongholds from the enemy.
➖ Russian forces, supported by artillery, attacked militant positions near #Belogorovka and #Makeyevka.
➖ In addition, our forces attempted to advance near #Stelmakhovka and #Masyutovka.

🔹#Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) Sector:

▪️The "Orchestrators" 👉 continue to storm the western outskirts of #Artyomovsk. In the northwest of the city, ours have advanced along Tolbukhin, Medvedev and Chernyakhovsky Streets. If events develop as we wrote yesterday , this is the best scenario for us and the worst for the occupiers.
Apparently, according to all the laws of military art, the command of the Armed Forces felt the enemy's weak points and began to implement its plan. It must be said, the orcs did not particularly hide their weak points - the flanks, the handsome man shouted in all interviews.
Yesterday's attack of the 3rd OSHBR was operationally a reconnaissance battle - to see the enemy's reaction to our activity on the flanks. Instead of a military erection, the enemy showed us complete tactical impotence on his flanks.
Naturally, under such conditions, Syrskyi began implementing the same tactics in the Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, and Khromov areas, which produced results.
But there are moments that are alarming. For example, that so far the results of the retreat of the occupiers have not been reflected even in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 18:00 on May 11, and that the main source of information regarding the advance on the flanks was the statements of the pro-Prigoghin channels "Russians" and their maps (!). Which raises certain questions, and are we being fed this on purpose? And so far, none of the units, with the exception of the 3rd OSHBR yesterday, has announced the capture of the areas left by the Orks in the Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, and Khromov areas. Moreover, these are areas of action of other brigades.
We are waiting for official confirmation from our sources, otherwise it looks like a telegram victory.

Pervomaiske, the direction of Nevelsky-Severny - very difficult.

The enemy resumed assaults from Novobakhmutivka to the north. Without success.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 El Ministerio de Defensa ruso negó todos los datos sobre la escalada en el frente (¡por fin informes en directo sobre los acontecimientos en los frentes!).

Pero confirmó una ofensiva local de las AFU "en dirección al asentamiento de Maloyilinovka".

🇷🇺🇺🇦 The Russian Defence Ministry denied all data on the escalation on the front (finally live reports on the developments on the fronts!).

But it confirmed a local AFU offensive "in the direction of the settlement of Maloyilinovka".

📌 Malo-Iljinovka is located, according to old General Staff maps, 1 km northeast of Yagodne, on the northern edge of Bakhmut. From the outskirts of Bohdanivka, where, according to Wagner's PMC, the AFU offensive took place, it is more than 6 km to Malo-Ilyinivka.

Thus, the Russian Ministry of Defence at least confirmed the fact of active combat operations and an attack on the group's flank at the location indicated by the military correspondents of Wagner's PMC.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦It has been an interesting day today. Among Russian warbloggers and media a lot of rumours have been spread. These rumours became fast worse and worse. After a short while there where actually some kind of panic. Many different sources said that UkrAF had started the Counteroffensive and broken through russian defence lines on many places and that Bakhmut was encircled by the ukrainians.

All these rumours where strengthened by the way russian media and bloggers use Telegram. Everybody shares each others information so together that can create a storm of false information.

During the evening russian bloggers and media suddenly realised that nothing extraordinary happened today. There where a lot of ukrainian probing attacks all along the front. More than usual, but nothing on a large scale. So the panic subsided and everybody laughed relieved at all others who fell for the rumours, even if they also fell victim to the panic.

Yesterday and last night ukrainian forces made some progress SW of Bakhmut. North of Khromove they retook a minor area east of Bohdanivka. RuAF on the other hand took a small area north of Khromove, substantial areas in SW Bakhmut and some minor areas west of Kruta Balka on the eastern part of the Avdiivka salient. But today no changes on the front has been reported. From the Wagner group came the usual claims of capture of 60 000m2 without area specifications.

The most interesting thing today are the nervousness of many russian war bloggers and journalists. Had they been more sure of themselves they wouldn't have fallen pray so easily to today's panic. I believe many are disappointed of the lack of advances from the RuAF during the winter and albeit they hope that the stalemate at the front are due to successful russian attrition warfare, they still doubt it a bit, fearing that the real reason are ineptitude in the russian military.

Many on the russian side probably need one clear undisputed victory to become less nervous. Until then new panic might again very well appear regularly.

I repeat the famous phrase from the Russo-turkish war in 1877; "Everything is calm at Shipka", at least for the time being
