๐น Units of the Wagner PMC continue their offensive in the city limits of #Bakhmut:
โ In the northwest of the city, the "Musicians" advanced along the streets of Medvedev, Chernyakhovsky, Tolbukhin.
โ The orchestra's assault squads captured a number of positions near the intersection of Levanevsky and Defenders of Ukraine streets.
โ In the south of Bakhmut, the units of the Wagner PMCs reached the line of 1st Lesnaya Street.
๐น The Situation around the City:
โ Units of the 9th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the RF Armed Forces left the forest belt and fortified area, retreating northward to a depth of 600 meters, thereby reopening the Chasov Yar - Bakhmut road to the AFU.
โ As a result of the counterattack of the AFU, the 9th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the RF Armed Forces also lost a section of the front up to 650 m wide to a depth of 600 m in the #Bogdanovka area.

๐ 9 May 2023, "On this day there were about 100 drone attacks, which were used both from the territory of #Ukraine and from the territory of the #Moscow region, in the hope that they would somehow be able to get to Red Square and cause some damage there. As a result of the actions of our air defence systems, as a result of the actions of our Signals Intelligence Warfare units, some were neutralized, planted, and some were simply destroyed," said Hero of Russia, Aviation Major General Sergey Lipovoy.
#Ukraine has used American drones with a maximum range of up to 800 km for the first time, the general said.
"Drones of this kind can be used both reconnaissance and strike. They were launched from the territory of #Ukraine. Some drones were shot down in the #Belgorod region, several drones were neutralized on the territory of the #Kursk region, on the territory of #Voronezh and on the territory of the #Kaluga region.

According to the author of the photo, most of those killed in the back are mobilized (judging by their age).
