🇮🇷🖇 About anti-Iranian propaganda in the West

Several Iranian non-governmental / non-profit human rights organizations (for example, Iran Human Rights and the Center for Human Rights in Iran ) began to circulate in the information space a disappointing conclusion about a 75% increase in the number of executions in Iran.

According to resources based in the US and Norway, the number of executions in the country has increased: allegedly, the number of massacres against ethnic minorities has increased. The dissatisfied and the protesters were given special emphasis: through them they demonstrate the failure of the leadership's policy in Tehran .

This data was immediately picked up by Western information resources such as The Telegraph , as well as several media outlets opposed to the Iranian authorities - for example, The Iran International (funded from outside, and headquartered in London) .

🔻 What is the issue?

The legislation in Iran is strict: for serious violations, punishment up to the death penalty is possible. This is a well-known fact that has not changed for decades , despite the disapproval of the West.

Because of the artificially inflated protests that began in September last year, the number of those who fell under the most severe articles has increased dramatically. And this is not surprising, because dozens of employees of law enforcement agencies, the Army and the IRGC of Iran were killed at the hands of the rebels.

In most cases, the punishment is proportionate to the crime. Inaction would raise the question of the weakness of the current authorities and would create the prerequisites for further anti-government activity.

🔻 Then why do the West focus on this?

The collective West needs constant tension and destabilization in Iran, since strengthening the positions of the Islamic Republic in the region is not included in the plans of the "Western partners".

Forcing the situation around the violation of the rights of minorities artificially focuses the attention of the representatives of these ethno-religious groups, indicated in the "reports" , on harassment by the authorities. In fact, this is a kind of trigger for the resumption of unrest.

If there were no words in the publication of human rights activists that official Tehran arranges executions of Baluchis, the provinces of Sistan and Balochistan did not even pay much attention to this, since the crisis in this area is local and is associated with socio-economic problems , and not the struggle for the separation of the region from Iran.

🔻The articles themselves, which seem to be aimed at the Iranian population, are published for the most part only in English . Why? It's simple - supposedly independent NGOs and NGOs are actually working on a customized agenda, which is needed to demonize the current leadership of Iran in the eyes of the Western layman , and not the Iranian public.

The style of text presentation in such publications is close to artistic, since no one is interested in dry figures. The death sentence for 19 defendants is just a statistic , but the "chilling or horrific murder of the Baluch regime fighters" creates a completely different picture of drama in the minds of the target group.

One-sided coverage of the situation in the West will continue further, as it is beneficial in view of the need for further tension in Iran. For the US and its allies, instability and the alleged threat to "global democracy" justify the huge cost of maintaining a military group in the Middle East, while weakening Iran.
