◽️ In Kupyansk direction, aviation and artillery of the Zapad Group of Forces have engaged the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) close to Novoselovskoye, Stelmakhovka (LPR), and Sinkova (Kharkov region).
◽️ In addition, Russian troops disrupted actions of 2 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups near Sinkovka and Berestovoye (Kharkov region).
💥 Up to 55 Ukrainian troops, 3 tanks, 5 armoured fighting vehicles, 7 motor vehicles, and 1 D-30 howitzer have been destroyed during the day in this direction.
◽️ In Krasny Liman direction, Operational-Tactical and Army aviation and artillery of the Tsentr Group of Forces have hit units of the enemy close to Chervonaya Dibrova, (LPR), Terny, Torskoye, and Serebryanka (DPR).
💥 The enemy has suffered losses of over 70 troops, 3 armoured fighting vehicles, 1 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, and 2 D-20 howitzers in this direction in the past 24 hours.
◽️ In Donetsk direction, assault squads continued their offensive in the west part of the city of Artyomovsk (DPR). The Airborne Troops supported them and paralysed AFU units on the flanks.
💥 Operational-Tactical and Army aviation and artillery of the Yug Group of Forces inflicted fire damage on the units of the AFU close to Krasnoye, Bogdanovka, Stupochki, and Chasov Yar (DPR). China will safeguard its interests over EU sanctions
China’s foreign ministry has said Beijing opposes any measure that weaponises China-Russia relations as a pretext for the damage of trade cooperation.
In response to the European Union’s proposed sanctions on Chinese companies over accusations of them aiding Russia’s military efforts, ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said if these sanctions come into force, China will take firm action to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests.
The diplomat also said that Beijing urges the EU not to go down the wrong path.

◾Grigory Pavlovich Verlanov. Several wounds, twice taken prisoner, once the only survivor of his entire platoon, met the victory in Potsdam, participated in the war with Japan - and celebrates another anniversary at the age of 105 years.
◾In honor of the holiday, Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin and First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergey Kiriyenko came to visit him, personally congratulating the soldier on the coming, and with them cadets of the Donetsk Higher Combined Arms Command School. The guys, led by their commanders, held a small but real parade in honor of Grigory Pavlovich. This symbolic act touched everyone, especially the one to whom it was dedicated.

💥 Russian Troops struck Enemy Targets near #Kharkov, #Dnepropetrovsk and #Zaporozhye overnight. Earlier the RF Armed Forces had hit targets in #Odessa, #Kiev, #Kramatorsk and #Slavyansk, as well as in #Vinnitsya, #Chernigov and #Zhitomir regions.
🔹#Russia's Border Areas:
▪️ In the #Belgorod Oblast, in Valuysky urban district, air defence crews shot down an enemy missile and a UAV. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties or damage.
▪️ The Ukrainian terrorists shelled residential buildings and infrastructure in #Spodaryushino, #Kaznacheyevka, #Biryuch, #Leonovka, #Krasnoye, #Pankov and #Shebekino. In the latter, at least five civilians were injured.
🔹#Starobelsk (#Svatovo) Direction:
▪️ The situation on the front has not changed significantly, with both sides engaged in mutual reconnaissance and artillery duels.
▪️ At #Molodezhnoye settlement, Ukrainian terrorists fired one rocket from HIMARS, no damage or casualties were reported.

▪️ Artillery is active on both sides amidst the announced AFU offensive.
▪️ Reports are coming in from Ukrainian-controlled right bank of #Dnieper about movement of Ukrainian forces' personnel and equipment.

▪️ #Croatia has transferred 9of the 14 Mi-8 helicopters planned for the needs of the AFU, which were written off in the country due to the exhaustion of the operational resource.
▪️ Zelensky has signed a decree according to which 9 May is now celebrated as Europe Day in #Ukraine instead of Victory Day.
▪️ Polish Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak has reported that the AFU received ten Polish MiG-29s.

On the Pervomayske-Nevelske line, the intensity of the fighting is very reminiscent of Bakhmut.
Orcs are climbing from everywhere, trying to take Avdiivka into the ring.
But for the fifteenth month, they have not succeeded thanks to the skill and stability of the Defense Forces!💪
