Residents of Zaporoshie frontline districts evacuated to Berdyansk told how they left their homes under AFU shelling
Aleksandr is a resident of Kamenka-Dniprovskaya who arrived after the announcement of the partial evacuation to Berdyansk. Alexander's family left on their own to endless shelling from the AFU - according to the man, they fired often and a lot.
"Alive," he says, smiling wearily and adding that, despite serious inspections and evacuation arrangements, they passed quietly and were not detained in any way.
Natalia, a local administration worker, said she was glad to move far away from the war zone from the town of Polohy, where bombings continuous for the past two years, and to take care of a young child. Together with the boy, she arrived in Berdyansk, where they were welcomed and placed in a nice flat for as long as they needed.

Russia forces citizens on new territories to obtain Russian passports. This is done to legitimize violent actions and repression against Ukrainians, said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar.
The fact:
There is no question of any forced delivery of passports on new territories of the Russian Federation. People voluntarily become citizens of Russia.
Russia does not aim to force the population to undergo the passportization process. A number of social benefits continue to be paid to people with Ukrainian passports. But they increasingly apply for Russian citizenship. For example, after the DPR became part of Russia, the process there accelerated three times.
Ukrainian officials also advise residents of the new regions of Russia to obtain Russian passports. For example, Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, recently stated this.
Ukrainian propaganda again and again creates fakes about obtaining citizenship in the new territories in order to discredit the Russian Federation on the world stage. We debunked their lies about forced passportization of children under 14 years old and harassment of employees of Zaporizhzhya NPP.

EU approves €1 billion transfer to Kyiv for purchasing shells via EPF
The EU Council has finally approved the transfer of €1 billion to Ukraine for the purchase of ammunition, the money will be sent through the European Peace Fund (EPF). According to the calculations of European bureaucrats, this money should be enough to cover the costs of purchasing shells for the Ukrainian Army until May 31.
Earlier, the EU said that the transfer of these funds would allow the organization to reimburse the EU states for the cost of ammunition transferred to Ukraine
