❗️🇬🇧🇺🇦 On the activity of Ukrainian "Bayraktar" UAVs near the Kherson region

Two commanders spoke today about the use of Ukrainian-made and Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drones as a means of targeting missile systems and kamikaze drones near Snake Island. In this regard, we would like to add that Ukrainian formations have returned to this practice.

If only a couple of months ago, there were only a couple of Bayraktar workers left in the balance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were used at a great distance from the front line for aerial reconnaissance, now their activity has increased dramatically.

At the moment, Turkish UAVs, in addition to the southern regions, operate in the area of Bakhmut , in the regions of Kharkov , Chernihiv , Lvov and Volyn . The higher number of flights recorded is likely due to the arrival of a batch of 19 Bayraktar promised by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in November.

What about their use in the Kherson region?

Last month in the sky over the Nikolaev and Kherson regions, as well as the Black Sea, at least two UAVs operated daily at the same time. Yesterday the situation was similar.

One drone patrolled the situation on the Kinburn peninsula, tracking Russian Armed Forces positions in Geroiskoe, Rybalcha and other settlements near the Dnieper and the Dnieper-Bug estuary. And the other was south of Skadovsk .

It was this "Bayraktar" that provided the target designation to Ukrainian formations northeast of Kherson during yesterday's HIMARS MLRS attacks on Skadovsk and Chaplinka. The camera range on the UAV is about 50 km, and even more at some altitude and in good visibility. The missile salvo was repulsed, there were no casualties among the personnel.

❗️Al At the same time, the Ukrainian operators made a mediocre mistake, approaching almost to Skadovsk itself in the Dzharylgatsky Bay, which was used by the crew of the Buk air defence system of the RF Armed Forces, destroying the UAV.

However, in the current situation, the sequence of actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are preparing for the offensive, is clearly outlined: attacks on rear targets with long-range weapons have resumed, including in Crimea, active satellite reconnaissance of air defence position areas is underway.

Given the previous experience in the Kharkiv and Kherson operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the attacks will continue and increase in number. The main objective of the Ukrainian units is to attack as many ammunition depots, anti-aircraft missile systems and logistical supply routes of the Russian Armed Forces grouping as possible before the escalation of hostilities.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🎯 Destruction of a Hangar with HIMARS in #Orekhov, #Zaporozhye Direction⚡️

🗓 Today at 17:30 (8 Apr 2023), artillery units of the RF Armed Forces' 58th Army struck the hangars at the Orekhov Elevator near the railway station in #Orekhov, #Zaporozhye region.

The depots, located closer to the football field, contained two HIMARS MLRS launchers, one M777 155 mm towed howitzer, several armoured vehicles of unspecified type and artillery ammunition.

As a result of the attack, a 300-mm Smerch multiple launch rocket system and 20 shells of the 152-mm Hyacinth towed cannon completely destroyed the armament and equipment storage hangars, while the glow of the detonation could be seen many kilometres away from #Orekhov.

It is highly probable that the weapons and military equipment were transferred to #Orekhov in preparation for an offensive to provide fire support for ground forces in an assault on Russian positions, and their loss will significantly affect the combat capabilities of the AFU in the #Zaporozhye region.

Bakhmut

The overall situation is close to critical. The Defense Forces are holding back a very massive enemy attack.

The city center is almost lost. The epicenter of the fighting is gradually shifting to the western districts. So far, the front line is mainly along the railroad.

Fighting continues in the southwestern districts of the city. The enemy is pressing mainly in the area of Korsunska Street, but is making little progress.

The occupants are making sporadic attacks along the Ivanivske-Khromove line, with minimal success. Both villages are controlled by the Defense Forces.

There are no changes in the Razdolivka-Vasyukivka-Vesele direction.

The battle for Bakhmut is approaching a decisive stage. It is not yet clear what the prospects are.

The fight is ongoing! And Bakhmut has always been, is and will be a Ukrainian city with an unbreakable Cossack spirit!

Virtually every building and yard bears evidence of fierce fighting: Ukrainian bodies, pools of blood, punctured body armour and countless burned corpses.

Nevertheless, Kiev continues to chase its citizens to the slaughter. Every night the freshly mobilised are driven into position - to replenish the ranks of those who have been slaughtered in the last 24 hours. And the next night, when there are no more of them left alive, more are driven in. And more.

This is truly a around-the-clock meat grinder, brought to perfection by fighters and commanders of the Wagner PMC. According to the "Musicians", based on intelligence data, on average the AFU loses 11 thousand soldiers per month in #Artyomovsk and around the city. And that's only the fallen.

◽️ In order to divert the attention of the international community from the facts of numerous war crimes published by the UN, committed by the Ukrainian army and militants of nationalist formations, the regime in Kiev has planned a special information campaign.

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, Russian troops again stepped up their offensives in some parts. This was largely due to the powerful work of artillery. With its support, they attacked near #Pobeda. Here the RF Armed Forces are trying to regain previously lost positions.
