๐We draw attention to the fact that in accordance with the resolution of 29th session of UNESCO General Conference of 12 November 1997 ยซCondemnation of violence against journalistsยป, mentioned in decision on Safety of Journalists at 33d session of the Intergovernmental Council of the International Programme for the Development of Communication of 25 November 2022, the Director General should ยซcondemn assassination of journalists and any physical violence against journalists as a crime against societyยป.
We recall that the brutal murder of the Russian journalist D.Dugina by Ukrainian terrorists on 20 August 2022, was condemned by UN Secretary General, but received no response from UNESCO Director General.
โWe expect that this time A.Azoulay will fulfill her mandate!

โช๏ธThe US is also sending TOW missiles because it is out of Javelins.
โช๏ธJavelins are listed under USAI to be manufactured for Ukraine. There is already a multi-year backorder for Javelins.
โช๏ธIf the fuel trucks & bridging equipment are for the offensive, it will take additional time to train Ukrainians on their use and represents Ukraine's need for a whole army's worth of new equipment up to and including support equipment.

๐ฌ On April 4, 2023, it was officially declared that all the legal procedures related to Finland becoming a NATO member were completed.
As we have warned on multiple occasions, the Russian Federation will have to respond with military-technical, as well as other measures in order to address national security threats arising from Finland joining NATO.
Specific decisions regarding the build-up of defence capabilities along Russiaโs northwestern borders will depend on the specific terms on which Finland joins NATO, including the deployment of NATOโs military infrastructure and offensive weapons on its territory.
โ๏ธ The line of contact between NATO and the Russian Federationโs border has more than doubled. This constitutes a major shift for Northern Europe, which used to be one of the most stable regions in the world. The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation has made another step to move closer to the territory of Russia.

By joining NATO, Finland has given up on its unique identity and lost its independence, which for decades gave it a special status in international affairs. Helsinkiโs policy of military non-alignment has long served its national interests and was a major confidence-building factor in the Baltic region and across the European continent. But now all this has become a thing of the past.
Finland became a minor NATO member without the possibility to influence any decisions. It has lost its ability to have a say in international affairs.
History will tell whether Finland needed to take this ill-conceived step, undertaken by the countryโs government without taking into consideration what the people think about it by holding a referendum and carefully examining the consequences of NATO membership. We strongly believe that this is the case.
โ๏ธ Finlandโs accession to NATO will have a negative effect on the bilateral relations between Russia and Finland.

๐นIn the #Zaporozhye Direction, the RF Armed Forces, after massive artillery and air strikes, attacked near #Gulyaypole from the direction of #Dorozhnyanka and managed to advance along the road to the city.
๐ฅ Under fire were AFU positions in #Kamenskoye, #Novodanilovka, Malaya Tokmachka, #Belogorye, #Charivnoye and #Olgovskoye. (Fig. 1)
๐นOn the #Donetsk Front, the AFU counterattacked near #Pobeda and managed to retake previously lost positions.
โ Russian forces, supported by artillery, conducted an assault in the western part of #Maryinka, on the outskirts of #Krasnogorovka, and near #Pervomayskoye. There is progress in the area of the last mentioned settlement.
โ After heavy shelling, the Russian Armed Forces continued their offensive on #Severnoye.

๐ฅ In Kupyansk direction, Operational-Tactical and Army aviation and artillery of the Zapad Group of Forces inflicted a fire damage on the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) close to Gryanikovka, Timkovka (Kharkov region), and Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People's Republic). Also during the day, actions of five Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were foiled close to Novoselovskoye, Rozovka, Artyomovka (Lugansk People's Republic), and Masyutovka and Pershotravnevoye (Kharkov region).
๐ฅ More than 40 Ukrainian servicemen, two armoured fighting vehicles, and two pick-up trucks have been eliminated in this area during the day.
โฝ๏ธ In Krasny Liman direction, Russian artillery and heavy flamethrower systems of the Tsentr Group of Forces thwarted a counter-attack of the enemy close to Seversk (Donetsk People's Republic), and also hit units of the AFU close to Nevskoye and Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People's Republic).
๐ฅ Over 80 Ukrainian troops, two armoured fighting vehicles, two motor vehicles, and one D-30 howitzer were destroyed.
โฝ๏ธ In Donetsk direction, the Yug Group of Forces, Operational-Tactical Aviation, and artillery have eliminated up to two armoured personnel carriers, one tank, four armoured fighting vehicles, two motor vehicles, and D-30 howitzer over the past 24 hours.
๐ฅ In these directions, the enemy has lost up to 410 Ukrainian troops and mercenaries during the day.
โฝ๏ธ In South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, aviation and artillery of the Vostok Group of Forces inflicted a fire damage on the AFU units close to Nikolskoye and Novopol (Donetsk People's Republic). Also during the day, actions of three Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were foiled close to Vladimirovka, Mirnoye, and Nikolskoye.
