⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ On AFU Readiness for Largescale Offensive -
Situation at the End of April 3, 2023⚡️

🔹 In the #Zaporozhye Direction, the AFU preparations for the previously announced offensive are coming to an end. At the training ranges the intensity of training and cohesion of personnel has increased.

➖ Training in operations as part of assault and reconnaissance groups takes place both during the day and at night. A HIMARS MLRS positioning area has been equipped near #Primorskoye to conduct targeted firing at the RF Armed Forces' rear facilities in #Zaporozhye region.

➖ The units of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces' 128th Mountain Assault Brigade are preparing for renewed attacks on Russian positions. There has been a forced lull over the last few days due to bad weather conditions.

🔹In the #Orekhov Section, as well as in some areas in the #Kherson direction, the arrival of assault units trained in overseas training centres is expected in the coming days.

➖ Meanwhile, members of the Ukrainian National Guard's 2nd Battalion 9th Regiment "Gepard" have already been put on combat readiness, despite the shortage of officers. Sergeants are promoted to the positions of junior officers.

❗️On the Eve of an Attack on #Melitopol and #Tokmak, several detachments of an unidentified AFU unit were transferred from the #Soledar direction to #Orekhov. They formed the basis of assault units with experience of fighting in urban areas.

➖ The personnel training of the AFU's 110th Territorial Defence Brigade has been completed at the training ranges in #Velikomikhaylovka, #Kolomiytsy and #Berezovoye. The 110th Brigade has been equipped with 18 tanks of an unknown type. In addition, the men are being trained in the #Vremyevka ledge area under the guidance of American instructors, which may be linked to a possible strike at #Gulyaypole and #Vremyevka sites.

📌 The AFU is actively preparing for the spring-summer campaign. The redeployment of assault units to both #Zaporozhye and #Kherson directions, as well as to some sections of #Donetsk, confirm the AFU's intentions to launch several strikes to restrain Russian forces.

At the same time, according to intelligence indications, Ukrainian formations may launch an active offensive phase in the next few days. Specifically on the front line in #Zaporozhye region, combat units have been put on full alert.

Two self-propelled artillery divisions of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade equipped with Western-made guns have taken up firing positions at the #Pavlovka - #Stepovoye (#Petrovskoye) line. A massive artillery preparation is likely to be carried out before an assault on the Russian strongholds.

There is an accumulation of personnel and equipment along the entire line of contact, from the #Kherson region to the occupied part of the DPR. Given this, the AFU may activate on several fronts at any moment as Western countries drive the Ukrainian authorities to attack.

🔹#Russia's Border Areas:

▪️ In the #Bryansk region, AFU drones dropped explosive devices on military recruitment office and Interior Ministry department buildings in Sevsky district. According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties.

▪️ In the #Belgorod region, Ukrainian terrorists shelled the Shebekinsky district. Residential buildings and industrial facilities in the villages of #Voznesenovka and #Pervomaysky were damaged, with no civilian casualties.

🔹#Starobelsk (#Svatovo) Direction:

▪️ In the #Kupyansk sector, the situation has not changed significantly. Mutual reconnaissance and artillery duels continue along the line of contact.

▪️ In the #Liman direction, Russian troops are conducting an offensive near #Serebryanskoye forestry (in the north of #Lisichansk sector; note) and also storming enemy positions near Balka Zhuravka (further north in the south of #Svatovo section; note).

▪️ The AFU terrorists shelled #Lisichansk with barrel artillery. A residential building was damaged, civilians were not harmed.

🔹#Soledar (#Bakhmut) Direction (MAP):

▪️ In Orekhovo-Vasilyevka the frontline has not changed. Positional fighting continues.

▪️ In the north of #Bakhmut, units of the Wagner PMCs are fighting for control of Zelenaya Street. In the Selishche district, Russian units have taken full control of the territory adjacent to School No. 24. Fierce fighting continues on the approaches to the railway station.

▪️ In the centre (of the city), Russian units have taken control of Bakhmut City Council, fighting is also taking place on Boris Gorbatov Street and near School No. 11.

▪️ In the south (of the city), the Wagnerians continue to dissect the enemy's defences near the Avangard stadium, expanding their zone of control along Bakhmutskaya Street.

▪️ The enemy is moving additional reserves to hold its positions near the road to #Kostantinovka.

🔹#Donetsk Direction (MAP):

▪️ In the #Avdeyevka sector, the AFU, after several unsuccessful tries, prepare for a new counterattack. Equipment and personnel are set on alert.

▪️ In the #Maryinka, Russian troops continue to break the AFU defences in the central part of the city on Druzhba Avenue, as well as in the north near the headquarters. The enemy has moved reinforcements from the 79th Air Assault Battalion to hold the lines.

▪️ Ukrainian militants continue to launch chaotic strikes on towns of the #Donetsk agglomeration. #Donetsk, #Yasinovataya and #Gorlovka were shelled. In the capital, as a result of a mine explosion, one woman was injured.

🔹#Zaporozhye Direction (MAP):

▪️ In #Melitopol, the car of the #Akimovka administration head, Maxim Zubarev, was blown up. He was injured, his condition is assessed as serious.

▪️ AFU preparations for a counteroffensive are coming to an end. Additional forces are expected to arrive in the #Orekhov section. According to some reports, Ukrainian formations may begin the active phase of the offensive in the coming days.

🔹#Kherson Direction on #SouthFront:

▪️ Artillery duels continue in the southern section of the front, with the RF Armed Forces striking enemy concentrations in Zolotaya Balka, #Tomarino and #Kherson.
➖ In turn, the AFU terrorists fired on civilian objects in #Gornostayevka, #Pechanovka and #Korsunka.

🔹Political Events:

▪️ Council of Europe Secretary General Marija Pejcinovic-Buric and German Vice Chancellor Robert Habek have arrived in #Kiev on a working visit.

▪️ Russia surrendered 12 POWs to #Ukraine. 10 sergeants and enlisted men of the AFU, including 5 wounded and 2 civilians.

The exchange took place amid #Ukraine's return of 5 seriously wounded Russians in late March.

▪️ Zelensky held a meeting with Congressmen from the US Republican Party and the head of the Intelligence Committee, Mike Turner, during which he thanked the US side for supporting the country.

RUSSIAN FIGHTERS AVENGE TERRORIST ATTACKS WITH VICTORIES ON THE DONBASS FRONT

Bakhmut. Night.

The general situation remains difficult.

In the south-western districts and in the center of the city - the heaviest battles.

The enemy had little success, and one should not fall for their imperial symbolism.

They captured the ruins of the administration - so what? What does this change in the operational-tactical situation, besides the fact that we lost a few buildings (more precisely, what remained of them)?

And it doesn't change anything. A part of the city is held by the Defense Forces and will continue to be held.

In the direction of Ivanivskyi, the occupiers have been unsuccessful for several days, and we are counterattacking. Now the situation there is somewhat stabilized (if you can call it that).

There are already positional battles between Stupochky and Ivanovsky.

In the Chromovo area, the enemy is unsuccessfully climbing the mountain. They are there like in a shooting range, but they still persist in trying.

No changes in the direction of Minkivka and the Rozdolivka-Vesele line.

🔹In the #Ugledar Section, the RF Armed Forces resumed assault actions from the direction of #Nikolskoye in order to bypass the city from the east after shelling the area.

◾The Ukrainian Armed Forces, together with the organizations "White Angel" and "Phoenix", forcibly took children out of Bakhmut in order to force their parents to evacuate to the territory of Ukraine.

◾This was told by Natalya Tkachenko, a local resident and mother of a 13-year-old girl. Children, according to her, were specially sought out, and in case of refusal to leave, they were taken away by force.

- Therefore, we had a period when we simply hid our children. We hid them in cold apartments, hid at other addresses, in other basements, that is, not where they were registered or seen before.

- If the car drove into the yard or appeared somewhere, the adults would quickly take the girls, go to other floors they had keys for, close them into cold apartments, and they sat quietly as a mice until the cars left.

▪️ Ukraine plans to drive a wedge across the territory along the southern coast of the Black and Azov Seas, near Crimea, or achieve a turn in the fighting in the east of Donbass.
The offensive will divide Russian-held territory into two zones, cut supply lines, and expose Russian bases in Crimea to Ukrainian artillery.
