⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Russian Defence Ministry Report on the Progress of the Special Military Operation (2 April 2023)⚡️

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.

◽️In Kupyansk direction, aviation and artillery of the Zapad Group of Forces have engaged the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) close to Sinkova, Olshany, and Krakhmalnoye (Kharkov region).

◽️ The enemy suffered losses of up to 30 Ukrainian troops, three armoured fighting vehicles, two motor vehicles, and one D-30 howitzer. In addition, Russian troops disrupted actions of six Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups near Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People's Republic), Dvurechnaya, Pershotravnevoye, and Sinkovka (Kharkov region).

◽️ In Krasny Liman direction, Russian ground-attack aircraft and Army Aviation, artillery, and heavy flamethrower systems of the Tsentr Group of Forces hit units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine close to Makeyevka and Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People's Republic), Yampolovka, and Grigorovka (Donetsk People's Republic).

💥 The enemy suffered losses of over 100 Ukrainian troops, two armoured fighting vehicles, four pick-up trucks, one Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer, and D-30 howitzer in this direction.

◽️ In Donetsk direction, the Yug Group of Forces, Operational-Tactical Aviation, and artillery have eliminated over 210 Ukrainian troops and mercenaries, three Turkish made Kirpi armoured personal carriers, three armoured fighting vehicles, four motor vehicles, three pick-up trucks, and one Msta-B howitzer over the past 24 hours.

◽️ In South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, air strikes and artillery of the Vostok Group of Forces carried out attack against AFU units in the areas of Shevchenko (Donetsk People's Republic), Levadnoye, and Orekhov (Zaporozhye region).

💥 Moreover, two sabotage and reconnaissance groups were neutralised close to Nikolskoye (Donetsk People's Republic), and Vishnevoye (Zaporozhye region).

💥 More than 40 Ukrainian servicemen, two armoured vehicles, three pick-up trucks, and one D-20 and one D-30 howitzers have been eliminated during the day in this direction.

💥 Moreover, one U.S.-made AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery warfare radar station was destroyed near Usepnovka (Zaporozhye region).

◽️ In Kherson direction, Russian troops have neutralised up to 15 Ukrainian troops, seven motor vehicles, and one Akatsiya self-propelled howitzers during the day.

💥 Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Group of Forces have engaged 92 AFU artillery units at their fire positions, manpower, and military hardware in 103 areas during the day.

💥 An ammunition depot of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been hit close to Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People's Republic).

💥 A command post and a communication centre of the 58th Motorised Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was eliminated close to Krasny Liman (Donetsk People's Republic).

💥 The control and observation posts of the 109th Territorial Defence Brigade and the 25th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit close to Petrovskoye and Terny (Donetsk People's Republic).

◽️ Russian air defence forces shot down 11 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles close to Vladimirovka, Kirillovka, Verkhnetoretskoye (Donetsk People's Republic), Novokrasnyanka, Varvarovka, Kremennaya (Lugansk People's Republic), Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson region) and Velikiye Vyselki (Kharkov region).

Residents of Avdeevka (Ukrainian control, under Russian siege) are hiding children from the forced evacuation announced by the Kiev authorities.

This was stated by the head of the Avdeevka Civil-Military Administration, Vitaly Barabash, in a TV marathon. He went ahead and called the parents of the children to be "spies".

"The day before yesterday there were six children in the city, one was taken out - became five. Then three more were found. Now the real number of children is eight. There's probably nothing to get through to these parents - apart from negativity, we no longer have anything. They are hiding their children. It's like some kind of spy action. Let's see, we will take them away and take them out", - said Barabash.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🎯 A Lancet Kamikaze Drone destroys another 155mm M777 Howitzer in the #Bakhmut Direction⚡️

🎬 Notably, the Ukrainian artillerymen ineptly attempted to camouflage their howitzer with a masked net, but the attempt proved futile and the M777 was destroyed along with its ammunition.

🔹St Petersburg:

Our colleague and war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky was killed in a terrorist attack in St Petersburg.
➖ At least 24 other people were injured.

🔹#Russia's Border Areas:

▪️ In the #Kursk region, Ukrainian terror formations shelled border villages. In #Iskra and #Dronovka there were no casualties, in Nikolayevo Daryino seven people were wounded.

▪️ In the #Belgorod region, the enemy struck an agricultural enterprise and houses in the village of #Novopetrovka, civilians were not harmed.

🔹#Starobelsk (#Svatovo) Direction:

▪️ There are no changes in this section of the front. Both sides are engaged in artillery duels along the line of contact, positional battles continue in the #Serebryanskoye forestry and near Balka Zhuravka.

🔹#Soledar (#Bakhmut) Direction:

▪️ In Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, the situation has not changed significantly, with neither side having stable control over the settlement.

▪️ In the north of #Bakhmut, Wagner PMC assault squads are advancing along Levanevsky Street in the Selischevsky district. Fighting is also taking place on the approaches to the railway station.

▪️ In #Bakhmut's south, Russian units have begun storming the enemy positions on Bakhmutskaya Street. The enemy is being encircled on both sides along Mira Street and Vasil Pershin Street near the local city council.

▪️ Southwest of the city, heavy position fighting continues for control over the #Bakhmut - #Konstantinovka highway. The enemy is moving new reserves to hold the strategically important route for defence.

🔹#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ In the #Avdeyevka sector, the situation remains steadily tense, with Russian units continuing a systematic offensive from the direction of #Kamenka and #Krasnogorovka, striking fire at the enemy strongholds.

▪️ Ukrainian terrorist formations once again fired indiscriminately at the #Donetsk agglomeration. Among others, #Donetsk, #Yasinovataya, and #Yelenovka came under fire. More than ten houses were damaged and one man was wounded in #Gorlovka.
➖ According to local authorities, three 110kV power lines were damaged as a result of the strike on the Kurakhovskaya TPP, leading to emergency blackouts in the Pokrovsky district.

🔹#Zaporozhye Direction:

▪️ On #Melitopol, the AFU terrorists fired missiles from rocket artillery at residential buildings and infrastructure. At least six civilians were wounded with varying degrees of severity.

🔹#Kherson Direction on #SouthFront:

▪️ Artillery duels continue along the entire line of contact. Russian forces hit enemy concentrations in #Kherson, #Berislav and #Dudchany.
➖ In turn, the Ukrainian terrorist formations shelled the left bank of the #Kherson region, including civilian facilities in Novaya Kakhovka, #Tavriysk and #Alyoshki.

🔹 Political Developments:

▪️ Ukrainian authorities continue to illegally take away the Kiev Cave Monastery from the canonical UOC MP. Metropolitan Pavel, the Lavra's primate, was placed under house arrest on Saturday night.

▪️ In #Khmelnitsky, in the Holy Intercession Cathedral of the UOC-MP, a fight took place between a Ukrainian militant and a priest - the first one threw off the Gospel and urged believers not to attend the churches of the Moscow Patriarchate, after which he was expelled by force.
➖ Against this background, a crowd of citizens came to the temple and began to threaten the priests. The mayor of Khmelnytsky, for his part, promised to take away all plots of land from the temples of the UOC-MP.
