This OTRK was developed mainly with Saudi Arabian money and in the interests of its armed forces, but was never completed. When hostilities began, there were a couple of experimental launchers and several rocket engines in production. It is possible that Ukraine could recall the launchers at its disposal and produce several missiles within a year.
Conceptually, Grom-2 is an analogue of the Russian Iskander-M OTRK or the US MGM-140 ATACMS. The mass of the rocket's warhead is 480 kg, the range in the export version is up to 300 km, in the version for the Armed Forces: 500 km.

IAEA head Rafael Grossi arrives for the second time at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. The inspectors have assessed the damage caused to the nuclear power plant by constant shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They will determine the degree of safety systems' efficiency and check the working conditions of the plant's personnel.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said the other day that Russia was allegedly holding the plant hostage. We have refuted this fake. In fact, the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia NPP has been repeatedly shelled by Ukrainian troops, using drones, heavy artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems as well. As a result, almost all power lines from the plant have been damaged, so electricity is not generated at Europe's largest nuclear power plant and is going nowhere. The Ukrainian side is using the factor of control over the only line feeding the NPP's cooling and monitoring systems as a tool of nuclear blackmail.
Russian experts have shown the strikes' impact sites and shrapnel from Ukrainian shells that have exploded on the plant's territory. A safety net was installed over the spent nuclear fuel storage facility to protect it from shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Grossi also saw it with his own eyes.
In addition, Renat Karchaa, advisor to the director general of Rosatom, showed Grossi armored vehicles standing on the Zaporizhzhia NPP site borders that had been converted into laboratories to monitor the radiation, chemical and biological background in and around the plant's territory. The ZNPP management drew the attention of the head of the international nuclear agency to the fact that these were not military hardware but, in fact, a military laboratory. Earlier, Ukrainian propaganda regularly spread fakes that the Russian military was using the plant as a parking site for military equipment.

Rafael Grossi promised to protect the plant and staff. However, given that he had previously refused to condemn the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strikes on the plant, one cannot take his word for it.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.
๐ฅ In Kupyansk direction, the attacks, launched by artillery of the 'Zapad' Group of Forces, have resulted in the neutralisation of AFU manpower and hardware near Tabayevka, Sinkovka (Kharkov region), and Novoselovskoye (Lugansk People's Republic). The enemy losses were up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 motor vehicles and 1 D-30 howitzer
๐ฅ In Krasny Liman direction, the attacks, launched by Operational-Tactical Aviation, heavy flamethrower systems, and artillery of the 'Tsentr' Group of Forces, have resulted in the neutralisation of AFU units near Terny (Donetsk People's Republic) and Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People's Republic). The enemy losses were up to 100 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles and 1 D-30 howitzer.
๐ฅ In Donetsk direction, as a result of intensive actions of the 'Yug' Group of Forces, and the attacks, launched by Operational-Tactical Aviation and artillery, the enemy losses were up to 110 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries, 1 armoured personnel carrier, 5 armoured fighting vehicles, 5 motor vehicles, 1 Grad MLRS, Akatsiya and Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers , and Msta-B and D-30 howitzers.
๐ฅ In South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the attacks, launched by aviation and artillery of the 'Vostok' Group of Forces have resulted in the neutralisation of the enemy units near Ugledar (Donetsk People's Republic), Marfopol and Dorozhnyanka (Zaporozhye region). The enemy losses were up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles and 1 D-20 howitzer.
๐ฅ In Kherson direction, the enemy losses were up to 40 Ukrainian servicemen, 3 motor vehicles, 1 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer, and 1 Giatsint-B towed gun.
๐ฅ Operational-Tactical aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralised 86 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 92 areas. 1 munition depot of the AFU 127th Territorial Defence Brigade has been destroyed near Izbitskoye (Kharkov region).
โ๏ธFighter Aviation of Russian Aerospace Forces has shot down one MiG-29 of Ukrainian Air Force near Koptevo (Donetsk People's Republic). 1 AFU Mi-8 helicopter has been shot down near Novovasilyevka (Donetsk People's Republic).
๐ฅ Air defence facilities have intercepted 9 HIMARS and Smerch rocket-propelled projectiles. In addition, 5 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have been shot down near Valerianovka (Donetsk People's Republic), Gulyaypole, Novoukrainskoye (Zaporozhye region) and Krynki (Kherson region).

โพThe war in Ukraine is likely to fuel gun crime on the streets of Merseyside for many years, a firearms expert said.
โพPaul James set up the National Ballistics Intelligence Service, which uses sophisticated analysis to identify and track weapons used by criminals. Mr James said the Balkans conflict had been the main source of guns being trafficked into Europe since the 1990s.
โพGuns held by civilians in Ukraine could also end up in the UK, he said, warning of a "time bomb waiting to explode". Mr James said millions of weapons could circulate when the Ukraine war ends, with many ending up in the hands of criminal gangs.
- "From experience, over the last 15 to 20 years, the guns from the Western Balkans have been the main source of firearms trafficked into Europe," he told BBC North West Tonight.
