🔹 #Starobelsk (#Svatovo) Direction:

▪️ In the #Kupyansk sector of the front, the situation has not changed significantly: artillery duels and mutual reconnaissance continue along the line of contact.

▪️ In the #Liman direction, Russian troops are fighting positional battles at the #Torskoye - #Terny line, as well as in the Balka Zhuravka area.

🔹#Lugansk People's Republic:

▪️ Ukrainian terrorist formations fired at least four rockets from HIMARS rocket launchers at #Troitskoye village. Residential buildings, a hospital and a shop have been damaged. One civilian was killed and 14 others were wounded.

🔹#Soledar (#Bakhmut) Direction (MAP):

▪️ In the north of #Bakhmut, Wagner PMC assault squads are advancing in the Selishche area. Fighting is also taking place on the outskirts of Levanevsky Street and adjacent houses to the AZOM industrial zone.

▪️ In the city centre, Russian troops, after taking control of the central market area, proceeded to storm the AFU positions near Nizhnyaya Street. Heavy fighting is taking place for control of the Bakhmut City Administration building.

▪️ In the south of #Bakhmut, the Sobachevka and Budyonovka districts are fully liberated. The "Wagnerians" started a battle with Ukrainian formations north of Shirokaya and Mariupolskaya streets, expanding the zone of control.

▪️ Near #Krasnoye, #Khromovo and Orekhovo-Vasilyevka the frontline has not undergone significant changes. Fighting continues for control of key enemy positions and for the route to #Konstantinovka.

🔹#Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) Sector:

▪️ In #Artyomovsk, fighters of the Wagner PMC are engaged in fierce fighting in the area of the city administration building, moving in parallel from the central market to Nizhnyaya Street. In the southern part of the city, the "bandwagon" has completely cleared the Sobachevka and Budenovka districts, and ours is also advancing on the positions of the militants to the north of Mariupolskaya and Shirokaya Streets.

🔹#Donetsk & #SouthDonetsk Directions:

▪️ North of #Avdeyevka, Russian soldiers are fighting near #Novobakhmutovka, meanwhile to the south(west) of the city the RF Armed Forces are working on militant strongholds on the approaches to #Severnoye.

▪️ In #Maryinka, our offensive in the centre continues, with the enemy retreating from strongholds, located in the district council building and church.

💥 According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, a Ukrainian Mi-8 was shot down by air defence assets near #Temirovka, #Zaporozhye region.

💡 The AFU attempted to hit the Russian Aerospace Forces base in #Crimea using the Ukrainian Grom-2 MLRS, developed as a replacement for the Soviet Tochka and Tochka-U. But for all its freshness, the complex's missile was shot down by Russian air defence.

🇹🇼 🇺🇦 On Taiwan's drone supply - Rybar's Analysis

The other day, postings appeared on several Polish Telegram channels quoting an unidentified source in Ukraine that Taiwan allegedly transferred 1,000 kamikaze drones to the Ukrainian Armed Forces needs to conduct a counter-offensive in Crimea.

🔻 How likely is this scenario?

Deliveries of commercial drones of various types, procured by private contractors for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, have already become common practice during the conflict in Ukraine. The same Chinese-made Mugin-5 UAVs are freely purchased through retailers on marketplaces such as AliExpress.

In this case, it does not even need official permission from the government of a particular country: the purchase/sale is carried out by private individuals without the use of state channels. Therefore, the statements of Taiwanese leaders about their non-participation in this delivery are true to some extent.

🔻 But is it real?

In the Taiwanese military industry, taking into account the experience of the conflict in Ukraine, they significantly changed their approach to increasing the island's defence capabilities: the sphere of unmanned technologies became a priority.

❗️Sin However, our Chinese colleagues, citing their sources, report that although there is intensive research and development of various types of UAVs in Taiwan, at the moment there are no technologies that would allow the production of high-tech crash drones in operation.

🔻 So where did this information come from?

The initial source was a Ukrainian blogger with the nickname PStyleOne1 on Twitter, and after that, the publication was picked up by Polish and Ukrainian media and channels.

There was no confirmation of the broadcast in any major news agency, not even in the Ukrainian government, which is always trying to show the unity of the whole world against the Russian Federation.

🔻 In other words, Taiwan does not help the Ukrainian Armed Forces?

This is not the first time that support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been reported from Taiwan.

▪️En August last year, information appeared about the transfer of a UAV with a Revolver 860 mine release system.

It was announced 800 units, but most likely this information is not entirely correct, as the supply of such a number of newly developed drones in Taiwan is a big unknown. There is certainly help from Taipei, but on a more modest scale and not to one's own detriment.

It is more plausible that components and parts will be brought from Taiwan for the assembly of high-tech UAVs on the territory of Ukraine than finished drones.

▪️Y an alternative option already tried and tested by other countries is possible.

The Taiwanese leadership can simply buy drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces from other countries, using third parties and fictitious companies, and then ship them to Eastern Europe with their subsequent transfer to the needs of the Ukrainian military. This method is actively used by the Pakistanis, who regularly supply ammunition to Ukraine via Poland and Turkey.

▪️Por Thus, last year Taiwan bought a large batch of parts, assemblies and drones from various companies around the world and transferred them to Ukraine. According to some reports, even a prototype of the new Iranian Kaman-22 UAV was purchased.

In October-November last year, Ukrainian formations tested one of these UAVs in the Odessa and Kherson regions, but its future fate is unknown.

🔻Obviously there are deliveries of drones from Taiwan, but not in the quantity reported in the Ukrainian media. At the same time, high-tech components for the assembly of UAVs are also being supplied to Ukraine.

It is problematic to control or trace this process, as such schemes usually involve front companies or third countries acting as intermediaries. This sometimes leads to the appearance on the front line of weapons from countries allied with Russia.

🔹In the #Zaporozhye Direction, artillery of the RF Armed Forces struck #Novoandreyevka, #Novodanilovka and #Charivnoye. The Ukrainian army is conducting reconnaissance in this area. Also under fire were #Staroukrainka, #Zheleznodorozhnoye, #Gulyaypole and #Malinovka. (Fig. 1)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, after the fire defeat, Russian troops again stormed the AFU positions in the western part of Maryinka. There was no progress.
➖ There were counterattacks near #Pervomayskoye, with the Ukrainian army attempting to attack in the direction of #Peski predominating. Russian artillery was firing at the village.
➖ Units of the RF Armed Forces with fire support attempted to break the AFU defence near #Severnoye. The enemy held their positions.
