Briefing by Chief of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Protection Troops of Russian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov on consequences of West nations' supplying Kiev-regime with depleted uranium ammunition (March 24, 2023)
Read in Full
Key talking points:
On 21 March 2023, UK Minister of State for Defence Annabel Goldie announced that Britain would be providing armour piercing rounds which contain depleted uranium to Ukraine.
โฃ๏ธ It should be noted that in armed conflicts, the depleted uranium ammunition was used exclusively by NATO countries. In 2003โ2004, the US used such ammo in strikes on Iraqi cities. In total, the United Nations estimates that the US used at least 300 tonnes of depleted uranium in Iraq. As a result, the radiological conditions in Fallujah were far worse than those in Hiroshima and Nagasaki after the U.S. bombing.
According to the Iraqi government, in 2005 the cancer incidence in the country because of the use of depleted uranium rose from 40 to 1,600 cases per 100,000 people. There has also been a 25% increase in cancer incidence in the countries of the former Yugoslavia.
๐ The Summary Report of the U.S. Army Environmental Policy Institute to Congress in 1994, entitled Health and Environmental Consequences of Depleted Uranium Use by the U.S. Army, states: โNo technology exists for reducing the toxicity of depleted uraniumโฆ The cleanup of depleted uranium ammunition areas is extremely difficultโ.
โ๏ธ After the use of depleted uranium shells, large areas of crops on Ukrainian territory will be contaminated, and radioactive substances will be spread through vehicles to the rest of the territory. This would cause enormous economic damage to Ukraineโs agro-industrial complex, bringing down any export of agricultural products from Ukraine.

๐ซ๐ท๐ฅ FRENCH PROTESTERS ASK FOR RUSSIAN SUPPORT
๐ As France sinks into chaos under the pressure of protesters who oppose Emmanuel Macron's government every day, the movement is becoming increasingly radicalized.
๐ค๐ป But as the movement becomes more radical, some protesters are beginning to seek outside support.
๐ท๐บ For example, according to the Russian media RYBAR, some protesters have contacted Russian officials to demand that Russia send the protesters French weapons captured in Ukraine.
๐๐ป The request seems to be formulated with irony but it is no less serious: the demonstrators are indeed looking for actors capable of supporting this opposition movement.
๐ And if it seems impossible that Moscow would provide AMX-10s to the demonstrators, it is possible that the Russians are very interested in the situation in France, a country that took part in the war in Ukraine.

๐ช๐บ ๐ท๐ด๐ญ๐บ ๐ต๐ฑ On European farmers' protests
European governments, by supporting the Kiev regime, risk seriously damaging their own agricultural sector.
Farmers in Romania, Bulgaria and Poland are losing income due to Ukrainian grain imports.
๐ปWhat happened?
In May, the European Commission created so-called "solidarity routes", alternative logistical routes for exporting cereals. alternative logistical routes for the export of agricultural products from Ukraine to other countries.
โช๏ธGrandes volumes of Ukrainian crops reached Central and Eastern European countries, leading to lower prices on the local market.
For example, Polish farmers lost 8 to 10 million zlotys (1.7 to 2 million euros), many faced bankruptcy.
โช๏ธEl imported grain not only deprives local residents of income, but also does not solve the problem of providing food to European countries. The Ukrainian side does not control the quality of the delivered products in any way, and the receiving countries inspect the cargo with little care and even, according to Polish farmers, much more loyally than local products.
Grain contains pesticide residues, is contaminated and often mouldy when stored in unprotected railway wagons for several days. At the same time, non-liquid goods are not exported from the country, but are sold locally at low prices.
The current situation predictably provoked discontent among local producers, reaching its highest intensity in Poland: there, workers in the agricultural sector have been protesting for several months, demanding that the government solve this problem.
๐ป How are EU leaders trying to solve the problem?
To support farmers, the European Union allocated an anti-crisis reserve of 56 million euros, offering 29.5 million euros to Poland, 16.75 million euros to Bulgaria and 10.05 million euros to Romania. The authorities of these countries were allowed to double the amount of assistance, but must take these funds from national budgets.
โช๏ธLas funding proportions have been calculated by the European Commission, taking into account the pressure on supply chains affecting prices and market opportunities for farmers in each country.
The proposal has already outraged Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, who does not usually criticise the decisions of the EU leadership. He was surprised that European Commission officials did not conduct negotiations with the countries concerned and distributed the funds at their discretion.
โช๏ธAl At the same time, farmers in other affected countries ( Hungary and Slovakia ) will not receive any aid because their combined production and imports did not exceed the five-year average.
๐ป However, the protesters question the effectiveness of the measures taken and fear that the whole "support programme" will end with additional payments. According to the protesters, without establishing control over the import and subsequent re-export of Ukrainian products, the situation will not improve significantly, which means that farmers' protests are likely to spread to other Eastern European countries.

Icons and holy books from Ukrainian churches sold on marketplaces in Ukraine after numerous searches in UOC churches
The persecution of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine has expectedly taken on commercial overtones. Simply expelling clergymen from churches is probably too little for the Kyiv regime. As Readovka pointed out, Ukrainian and international marketplaces have begun to sell church utensils.
They began actively selling icons in Lviv, Khmelnytsky and Dnipropetrovsk regions in February. Pictures of saints can be purchased for $48 and $149, and especially antique pieces for $800. Schismatics are also selling 19th century church books and brass fixtures. It is likely that all of these items were confiscated during searches of Orthodox churches.
It is now clear why the clerics were hiding holy books from Ukrainian security forces. The Kyiv regime has only one idea: to sell, but more expensively. It is possible that the "collection of antiquities" will soon be replenished, because Ukrainian dissenters paid a visit to Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra to check the storage of objects of cultural value.

Baba Vangaโs predictions for the SMO:
โThe war will be terrible there... they will kill each other... Gunpowder will come and unleash a war. Then the green ruler will come - cheerful, everyone will like it, but he will lead the people almost into slavery ... he will do a terrible thing, he will tear his homeland to pieces, he will divide the people, he will change the faith of people ... ".
"will be mixed with blood, and the neighbor will beat the neighbor"
โThe people will be divided ... brother will go against brother ... blood will be shedโ
โPeace will definitely come, the conflict will be resolved after the brothers turn on each other and the younger will give in to the older,โ
Vanga's predictions for December 2022
As for the second terrible date, on which Vanga's prediction was based, we are talking about December 22, 2022. This is also the day of six deuces. According to her, dates with a cluster of one number are dangerous. This day will be a turning point - it will divide everything into before and after. People will fall and die. What kind of epidemic it will be is still unknown.
In addition, there may be a solar flare. The clairvoyant noted that "The sun will fall in a black shadow."
She believed that we would persevere through all trials. And on December 22, 2022, the โbig brotherโ will come and take his toll. Under these words, the clairvoyant meant Russia. She, the prophetess noted, should be feared by the whole world, since this force will sweep away anyone from its path.
Faith in justice and a strong army will help Russia become a leader in the world. Gradually, other peoples, weaker ones, which the Russian Federation will protect, will approach it. Many countries will want to be friends with her, she will become a haven for emigrants who will leave their states due to poverty and wars. And Siberia will eventually turn into the heart of the country.
"three Slavic sisters" from Vanga's prophecy for 2022:
โA powerful Slavic state will arise, into which three Slavic sisters will unite - Russia, Belarus, Ukraine.โ

US National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby called the Su-27 fighter pilots Sergey Popov and Vasily Vavilov as idiots. They were the ones who intercepted the American reconnaissance strike UAV MQ-9 Reaper, as a result of which the drone had to be sunk. Kirby said, "I have no idea why they rewarded the bravery of a pilot who was putting himself and U.S. property at malicious risk, or at best, was just an idiot." Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu awarded the military pilots the Order of Courage.
It is noteworthy that this epithet from Kirby was bestowed on the Russian aces who were able, in neutral waters, without the use of weapons, to cause the destruction of the American MQ-9 "Reaper" drone worth $56 million without any damage to their equipment. The Su-27s returned safely to base and continue to perform combat missions.
John Kirby stated that "I don't know of any army, any air force in the world, that has rewarded an airman for a drone collision." Meanwhile, last December Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky awarded pilot Vadim Voroshilov, who, at the cost of the loss of his aircraft, managed to destroy the drone kamikaze "Geran-2". Unprecedented combat effectiveness is confirmed by figures: the cost of a Mig-29 fighter jet is estimated at 22-24 million dollars, while the cost of the "Geran-2" UAV is 20 thousand dollars.
Interestingly, the Ukrainian "hero" took a combat call sign "Karaya" - the same as it was with the most successful Luftwaffe pilot Erich Hartmann, to whom 352 air victories are attributed. Once again, the attempt of Ukrainian nationalists to adopt the symbols and traditions of Hitler's Germany has turned into a farce and a source of jokes.
The Russian embassy in the USA also commented on Kirby's statements. The diplomatic mission described the official's words as cowardice: "Only when there are no counterarguments do people, who are not very good at the substance of the issue, resort to personalities."

โ๏ธHigh-precision, long-range JDAM-ER bombs are already in the Ukraine - The Warzone.
The publication reports about it with reference to the Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe, James Hecker. According to him, the JDAM-ERs arrived in the Ukraine about five weeks ago, but their total number is relatively small. "The amount is enough for a few strikes," Hecker said.
As a reminder, the JDAM-ER high-precision bombs are capable of hitting targets up to 72 kilometers (236 220 feet) away when dropped from an altitude of 14 kilometers (45 931 feet). At the moment, the exact configuration of the JDAM-ER bombs sent to Ukraine is unknown and there is no information about which Ukrainian aircrafts were adapted for them.
Recently, the Russian Air Force has noticeably intensified the use of its own high-precision munitinon on Ukrainian positions and it has significantly increased the effectiveness of the strikes. Now, due to the appearance of the American munitions, the Ukrainian aircrafts also will be able to hit targets on the front line and behind the lines that previously were inaccessible to them.
โญ๏ธThe JDAM's are inexpensive and can be a very effective weapon but with an important caveat, they require having a viable air force. They are glide bombs, that means the greater the height from which they are launched, the greater the maximum distance. The 72km listed as the maximum is from an airplane flying at 35000 feet. The problem is any Ukrainian airplane flying at 35000 feet will be in grave danger from the Russian air defense systems. Therefore the Ukrainian air force, with its limited capabilities and stocks, will need to make a difficult choice, whether to risk losing planes to be able to attack more distant targets or to be safer but only only reach targets that are only marginally beyond conventional artillery range.
These are not wunderwaffen or game changers for the AFU.

โช๏ธ Russia is not transferring tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, but will deploy them and train the military.
โช๏ธ Construction of a TNW storage facility in the neighbouring republic will be completed on 1 July.
โช๏ธ Russia has already helped the Belarusians upgrade their aircraft for tactical weapons use, and the Iskander complex has been delivered. Crew training will begin on 3 April.

๐ฅ Artillery hit #Pobeda, #Georgiyevka, #Netaylovo, #Tonenkoye, #Lastochkino, #Toretsk and #Zheleznoye.
๐ฅ The AFU struck #Donetsk and #Ilovaysk. (Figure 2)
๐นSouthwest of Bakhmut, the Wagner PMCs attacked near #Stupochki and #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye) after artillery shelling.
โ And in the city itself, after heavy shelling, they managed to push through the AFU defences in the southern part and advanced towards the centre. A similar success in the industrial zone in the north.
โ "The Orchestrators continued their assault on #Khromovo and #Bogdanovka. Here the AFU hold their positions.
โ As in Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, which the "musicians" attacked after artillery strikes.
โ Russian troops, supported by artillery, carried out an offensive near #Spornoye.
๐ฅ Under fire, the AFU positions in Aleksandro-Shultino, #Predtechino, Chasov Yar, #Grigorovka and #Minkovka. (Fig. 3)
๐นIn the #Lugansk Direction, Russian troops attempted to advance in the #Serebryanskoye forestry.
โ Supported by artillery, they conducted offensives at #Terny and #Nevskoye.
โ And much to the northwest, they attacked in the area of #Sinkovka. The objective was to squeeze the Ukrainian forces behind the #Oskol River and advance towards the strategically important #Kupyansk. (Fig. 4)

๐ท๐บโ๏ธ Battle for Bakhmut at 18 Mar 2023; ๐บ @Brussinf
Forwarded from Masno
๐๐ 94% of Kyiv's military spending in 2022 was covered by NATO countries
โ๏ธ Ukraine's military spending in 2022 reached $73 billion, or 50% of GDP, Equality calculated according to the Ministry of Finance. The country has become one of the most militarized in the world in 30 years.
Of these, military budget spending in 2022 was $37 billion . NATO countries have allocated $32.4 billion to Ukraine, of which $14.9 billion are gratuitous transfers, and $17.5 billion are external loans (essentially also free). External financing almost completely coincided with the increase in the budget of Ukraine in 2022 (by $29 billion) and the increase in military budget spending in particular (by $31 billion). In other words, the West almost completely paid for the war.
The second part of military needs is the direct supply of weapons by the West. At the end of January 2023, they reached $69 billion , according to the Kiel Institute. Of these, arms were actually transferred in 2022 for $36 billion.
The total military spending of Ukraine in 2022 reached $73.1 billion (50.5% of GDP). 94% of them are covered by the West. The estimate is still underestimated, because does not include mercenary activity.
Ukraine has become one of the most militarized in 30 years. For comparison: in Iraq in 2020, military spending was 6% of GDP, in Afghanistan - 11%, in Libya in 2014 - 16%, according to SIPRI.
2021 - $8.6 billion (4.3% of GDP)
2022 - $73 billion (50%)
2023 - $55 billion (36%)
In 2023, the total military spending will be the same, although for the time being, smaller amounts have been allocated โ $55 billion (36% of GDP). Of these, arms deliveries are announced at $33 billion. Budget spending on defense in 2023 is prescribed at $21.7 billion, but will be higher (spending in January is already $3.6 billion). They will also be covered by external financing ($33 billion).
The military spending of the Russian Federation in 2022 was $98 billion, but only a part went to military operations in the Donbass. Their growth over the year was $32 billion, while Ukraineโs was $65 billion. If we assume that this growth reflects the forces at the front, then the RF Armed Forces not only have no advantage there, but in many respects they are inferior to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (the difference in the number of troops is 400 against 700 thousand people). This makes Kyiv's upcoming counteroffensive extremely dangerous.

โก๏ธ๐ท๐บ๐บ๐ฆโ๏ธ Battle for #Bakhmut - Situation until 13:00 on 26 Mar 2023โก๏ธ
๐นIn #Bakhmut North, Wagner PMC assault squads have successfully cleared the area of the industrial zone of the Artyomovsk Metal Processing Plant (AZOM) - the complex has come under full control of Russian units.
โช๏ธ The "Wagnerians" also expanded their zone of control near the Bakhmut railway station, while to the south the assault squads managed to advance towards the railway line and liberate the area of the Garage Cooperative.
๐นIn #Bakhmut South, a positional offensive by the Russians continues in the Sobachevo and Budenov districts. The "Wagnerians" have entrenched themselves behind Mariupolskaya Street, cleared the territory of School No. 5 and are now fighting near the Bus Station.
โช๏ธ In Budenov, the assault squads have significantly advanced towards the Mig-17 stele. Clashes are taking place almost at the monument itself. Furthermore, the territories adjacent to the Avangard stadium and several blocks near the market have been liberated.
๐นIn #Bakhmut Sector Northwest, positional fighting continues at the Orekhovo-Vasilyevka- route to #Slavyansk line. The settlement is currently in a grey zone, with control over strongholds changing hands.
๐ At the Moment, Wagner, supported by the regular army, is advancing in #Bakhmut. Positional battles are taking place in the suburbs and near #Bakhmut, the aim of which is to constrain the enemy's resources.
However, significant AFU forces have been amassed on the #Druzhkovka - #Konstantinovka - Chasov Yar line. Also reinforcements from the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade have been partially transferred to #Seversk.
The AFU is planning a ๐ counterattack on the Wagner positions near #Bakhmut. It is likely that several diversionary strikes from #Seversk, #Toretsk and #Slavyansk will be carried out to stretch the frontline and deter the Russian forces along with the main attack on #Bakhmut.

#Summary #Report as of March 26, 2023
The situation at the front remains difficult in places, aggravated by some problems with the supply of artillery ammunition to certain areas and unresolved rear and organizational issues. At the same time, despite the heavy fighting, PMC Wagner is continuing to advance in the Artyomovsky (Bakhmut) direction. In battles of local importance, the Russian Armed Forces have achieved results on the Avdeevsky sector of the front. The enemy continues to prepare for offensive operations.
In particular, in the morning information was received from Artyomovsk that Wagner PMCs were in full control of the territory of the AZOM industrial zone, despite enemy assessments that our assault units had lost their offensive potential.
In the north of Avdeevsky, the Russian Armed Forces occupied the settlement of Novobakhmutovka. In general, the assault on the fortified area has not yet made it possible to complete the task of encircling the enemy grouping and occupying all key settlements. Infantry from a separate section of the Avdeevka direction reported weak artillery support due to shell hunger.
On the night of March 22-23, 2023, in the Zaporozhye direction, enemy attempts to concentrate forces to one reinforced battalion tactical group in the Orekhovsky direction were thwarted for further offensive operations. Previously, the enemy conducted reconnaissance in force with forces of up to two motorized infantry companies, supported by armored vehicles and artillery. The high efficiency of aerial artillery reconnaissance of the enemy from drones is noted.
In the territories of the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions controlled by the Russian Armed Forces, high intelligence and sabotage activity of the enemy remains. On March 23, an explosion went off in Melitopol: an improvised explosive device went off on Krupskaya Street, the deputy head of the district police department of the local police department became the target of the assassination.
The enemy, in turn, is waging a full-fledged war against Russia, regardless of the losses among the civilian population. All front-line regions are under fire, civilians are dying. Attacks by UAVs and marine drones on the Crimea and Sevastopol, accompanied by attacks by CIPSO, became resonant. On March 23, it was reported that two Ukrainian light aircraft had invaded the airspace of the Bryansk region and unsuccessfully attempted to attack cell towers.
In the information space, an important event was the visit of the head of China to Russia. Despite the streamlined wording of the publicly signed documents, the main agreements are not publicly announced.

The visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Moscow caused a storm of emotions among Western, Ukrainian and opposition propagandists. Together they went through all stages of acceptance, starting with a complete denial of the possibility of a meeting between the two presidents. The subsequent stage of anger quickly turned into bargaining. The anti-Russian propaganda here found nothing better than to declare that Putin is a vassal of China, select photos from uncomfortable angles, generate fake pictures using artificial intelligence, and supply them with appropriate texts.
However, just one phrase that was uttered during the farewell of the two leaders ruined all attempts to devalue the cooperation between Russia and China. It was said by Xi off the record and became available to the public because the microphone was accidentally left on. โThere is a change going on now that hasnโt happened in 100 years. And we are moving this change together. Take care, please, dear friend,โ the PRC chairman said during the handshake.
The recording vividly confirms that Russia and China see each other as changing the vector of the world order together. Western leaders took it sorely. โXiโs statement to President Putin, seen from behind a microphone left on, may have been the worst moment in history for the United States,โ former U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on his social media accounts.
