➖ Fighting continues near #Khromovo - the village itself is not taken.

🔹2. Southwest of the City, fighting at #Krasnoye continues.
➖ The enemy attempts counterattacks to unblock the road. The AFU grouping in #Artyomovsk continues to have supply problems.

🔹Today, Ukrainian Troops operating in the #Orekhov area entered #Novodanilovka village south of the city. The settlement was in the grey zone, neither Russian units nor enemy formations were actually there.

At present, the AFU controls half of #Novodanilovka and is entrenched in the occupied lines. At the same time, attempts to attack Russian positions are expected to resume in the next couple of days.

🔹FPV Drones are being deployed to the front lines in #Orekhov and #Pologi areas. In addition, there is a build-up of heavy Western armoured vehicles near #Orekhov.

⚔️ Situation on the Fronts for the past Day

🔹#Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) Sector:

➖ The "orchestrators" are advancing towards Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, #Bogdanovka and #Grigorovka.

In the course of a night strike, the RF Armed Forces hit an object in the #Zhytomyr region. Judging by photo and video footage, the target of the strike was the Record oil storage facility north of #Zhytomyr.

It is highly probable that the Geran-2 kamikaze drone hit one of the tanks and a large fire broke out at the site of the arrival. According to foreign journalists, the fire could not be extinguished throughout the day.

This is at least the second blow to Ukrainian fuel and energy infrastructure lately: last week Russian troops also 👉 attacked a storage facility in #Novomoskovsk in the #Dnepropetrovsk region.

🔹#Zhytomyr Region:

▪️ Russian kamikaze drones Geran-2 👉 have hit a critical infrastructure facility on the outskirts of #Zhytomyr. The Record oil storage facility is suspected to have been hit.

🔹#Russia's Border Areas:

▪️ In the #Belgorod region, Ukrainian formations launched an artillery strike on the village of #Borisovka. An agricultural enterprise was damaged and one man was killed.

▪️ In the #Bryansk region, the enemy struck the village of #Demyanki, damaging a warehouse of an agricultural enterprise and an administrative building.

🔹#Soledar (#Bakhmut) Direction:

▪️ In the #Lisichansk sector, Russian troops expanded their zone of control near #Verkhnekamenskoye in the course of the offensive.

▪️ Northwest of #Bakhmut in Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, there are no changes to the front line. Fighting is taking place in the centre of the settlement, from which the enemy has not yet been able to be driven out.

▪️ In #Bakhmut, fierce fighting continues in all parts of the town: Fighters of the Wagner PMCs control about 70% of the city.

▪️ To the southwest, Russian aviation and artillery inflict fire damage on the reserves coming from #Konstantinovka, which are trying to unblock the #Bakhmut - #Konstantinovka highway.

🔹#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ In the #Avdeyevka sector, Russian units are consolidating on the occupied lines and preparing for a further offensive.

▪️ The enemy terrorists once again fired indiscriminately at #Donetsk. A Tochka-U rocket was fired at the city, destroying a water supply building and School No 87 in the Petrovsky district.
➖ #Dokuchayevsk, #Gorlovka, Shirokaya Balka and #Vodyanoye were also hit. Six people were wounded and more than ten houses and civilian facilities were damaged.

🔹#Zaporozhye Direction, #Orekhov Section (MAP):

▪️ Ukrainian formations during an attack on Russian positions managed to partially consolidate in the village of #Novodanilovka south of #Orekhov, taking control of half of the settlement. After regrouping, a further offensive deep into the Russian defence is expected.
➖ The enemy is moving UAV operator units and heavy western armoured vehicles to the #Orekhov area, accumulating a strike fist in this direction.

🔹#Kherson Direction on #SouthFront:

▪️ The RF Armed Forces fired on the accumulation of AFU personnel and equipment in #Antonovka, #Gavrilovka, #Veseloye, #Kherson and #Dneprovskoye.
➖ In their turn, the Ukrainian terror formations launched strikes on populated areas in #Kherson Region. Damage was also inflicted on civilian infrastructure in Novaya Kakhovka.

🔹#Crimea:

▪️ The AFU attempted to attack the seaport in #Sevastopol bay with three maritime drones and other UAVs. All targets were intercepted in time by the Black Sea Fleet Coast Guard and air defence assets.

At around half past twelve on 22 Mar 2023, several explosions thundered in the Aleksandrovsky district of the leftbank part of #Zaporozhye. Residents reported 5-6 arrivals in the residential area near the Coastal Highway.

Judging by video from the scene, one of the shells hit the junction of residential buildings 2A and 2B on Zaporozhskaya Street and destroyed the balcony sections. Some time later fire broke out in several damaged flats. It could have been caused by ignition of electric generators, which locals often place just on balconies.

Local media report that 31 people were injured. There were no civilian fatalities.

🔹What was that?

When breaking down the video of the arrival by frames, you can see that the ammunition has an elongated shape with a small tail. In terms of the ratio of length and diameter, it strongly resembles a large-caliber MLRS projectile.

The direction of impact and nature of the damage suggests that the launching position was located somewhere between #Dneprorudnoye and #Vasilyevka near the shore of the Kakhovka reservoir. The distance to #Zaporozhye is approximately 50 km, which corresponds to the range of Smerch MLRS.

Later, photos from the roof of a neighbouring house appeared, where another unexploded ordnance was allegedly discerned. However, it later turned out that the missile was an ordinary solar panel, which was simply filmed from the "right" angle.

📌 Residential Buildings were not the target of the raid. It is more likely that they were hit either as a result of a targeting error, or due to the condition of the ammunition.

And in any case, with the ongoing problems with ammunition, wasting rockets on residential areas is a luxury that the RF Armed Forces simply can't afford.

🔹 What could have been the real target of the attack?

At first glance, there really are no military facilities or critical infrastructure near the massif that came under fire. However, there are a large number of warehouses within 500 meters, including the cargo department of Novaya Pochta.
Its length-to-diameter ratio strongly resembles that of a large-calibre MLRS projectile.

The Putin-Xi summit is, without question, a significant historical event. The only thing unclear right now is the scope of it — i.e. whether it is truly a pivot point, or another gradual step away from the Globalist American Empire's hegemony. The sheer amount of publicized agreements points to the first interpretation (going by the unwritten rule that there is always more beneath the surface when it comes to these things). So does Xi's quip about "changes the likes of which we haven’t seen for 100 years" that Russia and China are "driving together," according to a verified translation.

That said, both countries are very methodical and not prone to dramatic PR gestures — something that's hurt their communications with the GAE, as I've repeatedly pointed out here — so don't expect ground-breaking developments tomorrow. My feeling is that both Moscow and Beijing are perfectly happy to see Washington flailing about and insisting it is still the all-powerful global hegemon, while working quietly to ensure that is no longer the case, leaving the drama to Hollywood.
