⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Russian Defence Ministry Report on the Progress of the Special Military Operation (24 February 2023)⚡️

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.

💥 In Kupyansk direction, the attacks, launched by Army Aviation and the artillery of the 'Zapad' Group of Forces, have resulted in the neutralisation of the enemy manpower and hardware near Dvurechnaya, Krakhmalnoye, and Tabayevka (Kharkov region).

◽️ Over 60 Ukrainian personnel, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, 4 motor vehicles, 1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer, and 1 D-20 howitzer have been eliminated.

💥 In Krasny Liman direction, the active operations of the 'Tsentr' Group of Forces, supported by Ground-Attack and Army aviation, as well as the artillery fire, have resulted in the elimination of up to 140 Ukrainian personnel, 3 armoured fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, 1 fighting vehicle equipped with Grad multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS), as well as the Msta-B, D-20, and D-30 howitzers near Novosadovoye (Donetsk People's Republic), Ploshchanka, Makeyevka, Chervonopopovka, and Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People's Republic).

💥 In Donetsk direction, the units of the 'Yug' Group of Forces have launched a complex fire attack against the concentrations of enemy manpower and hardware along all the line of contact.

◽️ The enemy has lost up to 240 Ukrainian personnel, 2 tanks, 7 armoured fighting vehicles, 6 motor vehicles, the D-20 and D-30 howitzers, 1 D-44 anti-tank gun, as well as 1 U.S.-manufactured M-777 artillery system.

◽️ 1 command post and one ordnance depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been destroyed near Avdeyevka (Donetsk People's Republic).

💥 In South Donetsk direction, Operational-Tactical Aviation and the artillery of the 'Vostok' Group of Forces have launched a complex fire attack against the AFU units near Vodyanoye, Ugledar, and Prechistovka (Donetsk People's Republic).

◽️ Over 80 Ukrainian personnel, 1 tank, two infantry fighting vehicles, 3 pickups, 4 fighting vehicles equipped with Uragan MLRS, 1 D-20 howitzer, 1 U.S.-manufactured M-777 artillery system, 1 Polish-manufactured Krab self-propelled artillery system, as well as 1 U.S.-manufactured AN/TPQ-36 counterbattery warfare radar have been eliminated.

◽️ 4 AFU ordnance depots have been destroyed near Razdolnoye, Bogatyr (Donetsk People's Republic), and Malinovka (Zaporozhye region).

💥 In Kherson direction, the firepower operations have resulted in the elimination of over 40 Ukrainian personnel, 1 fighting vehicle equipped with Grad MLRS, 1 Msta-B howitzer, 3 D-30 howitzers, and the ordnance depot of 104th Artillery Brigade of the AFU near Vysshetarasovka (Dnepropetrovsk region).

💥 Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralised 102 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, as well as the manpower and hardware in 142 areas.

◽️ The command post of 127th Territorial Defence Brigade has been neutralised near Peremoga (Kharkov region).

💥 Air defence facilities have shot down 4 rocket-propelled projectiles, launched by HIMARS and Uragan MLRS, and 6 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near Merefa, Liman Vtoroy (Kharkov region), Aleksandrovka (Donetsk People's Republic), Golaya Pristan, and Novaya Zburyevka (Kherson region).

🔹#Soledar Sector:

▪️ Clashes continue at the #Zaliznyanskoye - #Vasyukovka line, as well as in the direction of Orekhovo-Vasilevka. The militants of the 123rd Battalion of the 113th Territorial Defence Brigade attempted to strike from #Minkovka to the flank of the advancing group of Russian troops and retake a section of the route to #Slavyansk, but the "Wagnerians" repulsed the attack.

🔹#Bakhmut Sector Northwest:

▪️ The storming of #Yagodnoye village continues. After the liberation of #Berkhovka, the position of the AFU has seriously deteriorated. The Wagner PMC assault squads have pushed back the forces of the AFU 25 Rifle Battalion to the outskirts of #Yagodnoye, so the village is practically under the Russian control.

▪️ West of #Berkhovka, there are battles near the dachas near Dubovo-Vasilevka. The Ukrainian command is trying to hold the village. Fire support for the defenders is provided by cannon and rocket artillery from #Bogdanovka. However, the dominant hills north of Dubovo-Vasilevka are already controlled by the "Wagnerians", making it increasingly difficult for the AFU to keep this area.

🔹#Bakhmut:

One can believe in these absurd allegations only if one forgets about the eight years that had preceded our special military operation. Eight years is how long the felonious nationalist regime that came to power in Kiev after a Western-supported anti-constitutional coup d’état had waged a deadly war on the people of Donbas. Their only fault was that they wanted to stay ethnic Russians and raise their children as ethnic Russians, revered the memory of their ancestors and despised Nazi collaborators whom the new authorities glorified.

Comrades from Belogorivka say that the Russian pressure has increased, which is connected with the arrival of the reinforcements of the "mobilised". In general, the structure of the enemy's offensive directions in the Siversk region is beginning to emerge. This is the same tactic as in Bakhmut - covering the enemy on the flanks with simultaneous pressure in the center. The goal is to force the enemy to leave their positions due to possible encirclement.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Starobelsk Direction until 16:00 on 24 Feb 2023⚡️

📌 There are no visible changes along the frontline. Mutual artillery fire is taking place along the line of contact and the AFU is reinforcing their positions on the right bank of the #Oskol River in case of a Russian offensive.

🔹#Kupyansk Sector:

▪️ 1 tank company of the 10th Battalion of the AFU's 3rd Separate Tank Brigade in the number five tanks was relocated from #Staroverovka to the #Dvurechnoye area . After refueling, the crews took up prepared positions.

▪️ The Ukrainian command is considering the possibility of a counterattack on #Dvurechnoye to regain the lost territories. However, the scenario is unlikely because of the heavy losses in personnel and the redeployment of some units to other parts of the front.

For example, a gap has already formed in the 14th Mechanized Brigade, which is being rapidly filled with mobilised men. As a result of yesterday's attack by the RF Armed Forces on the brigade's personnel deployment, 32 militants have been killed.

🔹#Svatovo Section:

▪️ Separate units of the AFU's 67th Mechanized Brigade, as well as a mobile Signals Intelligence team, have been moved to the #Kolesnikovka - #Zagryzovo line. The newly created unit was supposed to operate in the operational reserve of the AFU grouping in #Kharkov region, but due to changes in the situation it is actively used at the frontline.

🔹#Liman Sector:

▪️ Ukrainian paratroopers at the #Torskoye - #Kirovsk line are experiencing a shortage of ammunition. At the moment, artillery crews can only fire at confirmed targets.

▪️ AFU reinforcements have arrived at the positions of the 1st Battalion of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade and the 13th Battalion of the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade in #Terny, #Yampolovka and #Torskoye, as well as radios and drone control consoles have been handed over.
