His unit, part of the Karpatska Sich battalion, contains around 50 foreign fighters including Brazilian, Colombian and American soldiers. Three other British fighters have been in hospital for several weeks after being concussed by a tank shell.

🔹 In the #Zaporozhye Direction, Russian troops attempted to advance towards #Novodanilovka after an artillery preparation. The AFU repulsed the attack.
➖ Russian artillery was firing on almost the entire line of contact. #Kamenskoye, #Magdalinovka, #Stepnoye, #Novoandreyevka, #Orekhov, Malaya Tokmachka, #Charovnoye, #Gulyaypole, #Pavlovka, #Malinovka and #Olgovskoye were under attack. (Fig. 1)

🔹 On the #Donetsk Front, the RF Armed Forces are conducting an assault on the southern and northern outskirts of #Maryinka. Artillery is firing at the western part of the city. There is no progress.
➖ Also with fire support, Russian forces attacked on #Nevelskoye, #Pervomayskoye and near #Vodyanoye. With the same result.

The snow is very hot now.
1. Belogorivka - counter-tough battles. The enemy is attacking with the aim of preventing our forces from hitting the flank at the Rozdolivka - Vesele border.
2. Vasyukivka - Zaliznianske frontier - positional battles without success for the enemy. Regrouping is underway, the enemy is concentrating reserves. The direction of this group is a blow to the rear of the Siver group of troops.

◽️ The enemy has lost up to 55 personnel, 2 pickups, and 1 D-20 howitzer.

💥 In Krasny Liman direction, the active operations of the 'Tsentr' Group of Forces, as well as the attacks, launched by aviation, artillery, and heavy flamethrower systems, have resulted in the neutralisation of the manpower and hardware of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Yampolovka (Donetsk People's Republic), Stelmakhovka, and Chervonaya Dibrova (Lugansk People's Republic).

◽️ About 85 Ukrainian personnel, 1 infantry fighting vehicle, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, 1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer, and 1 D-30 howitzer have been eliminated.

💥 In Donetsk direction, the offensive operations of volunteers from assault detachments, supported by the units of the Airborne Troops' formation from Pskov, as well as the attacks, launched by aviation and the artillery of the 'Yug' Group of Forces, have resulted in the elimination of over 210 Ukrainian personnel, 6 armoured fighting vehicles, 4 motor vehicles, 1 Grad multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS), and 1 D-20 howitzer.

💥 In South Donetsk direction, Operational-Tactical Aviation and the artillery of the 'Vostok' Group of Forces have launched a complex fire attack against the AFU units near Vodyanoye, Ugledar, Dobrovolye (Donetsk People's Republic), and Uglesborochnaya railway station.

◽️ The enemy has lost up to 105 Ukrainian personnel, 1 tank, 2 infantry fighting vehicles, 3 armoured fighting vehicles, as well as the Msta-B, D-20, and D-30 howitzers.

◽️ 6 AFU ordnance depots have been destroyed near Razdolnoye, Bogatyr, Ugledar, Razliv, Vodyanoye (Donetsk People's Republic), and Uglesborochnaya railway station.

💥 In Kherson direction, the counterbattery warfare operations have resulted in the destruction of 2 Msta-B howitzers, and 1 D-30 howitzer.

💥 Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralised 97 artillery units at their firing positions, as well as the manpower and hardware in 128 areas.

◽️ 1 35D6 low-altitude aerial target detector has been destroyed near Krasnoye (Donetsk People's Republic).

◽️ Air defence facilities have shot down 1 Su-25 airplane of Ukrainian Air Force near Kizomys (Kherson region).

🔹#Bakhmut Sector Northwest:

▪️ According to some reports, Ukrainian formations have retreated from #Berkhovka and the village has come under full control of the Wagner PMC assault squads. A sweep of the village is now underway.
➖ Fighting for the village took place over the past few days, and yesterday the Wagner forces crushed the AFU militants on the western outskirts. Overnight Ukrainian units withdrew to Dubovo-Vasilevka and #Yagodnoye.

▪️ The storming of the village of #Yagodnoye, where the AFU had moved reinforcements the day before, is continuing. At the moment clashes continue near the Bakhmut nursery, where Ukrainian paratroopers are entrenched.

📌 The liberation of #Berkhovka makes it possible to completely cut off the supply of the Ukrainian grouping in #Bakhmut via roads in the village and nearby. Furthermore the onslaught on nearby Dubovo-Vasilevka and #Yagodnoye will be increased.

Currently, the AFU command is trying to hold the #Yagodnoye - Stupki area in #Bakhmut with all its might until a new defence line is built near Chasov Yar. Strongholds are being set up in #Bogdanovka to defend the town.

🔹#Soledar Sector:

▪️ Russian troops have also conducted a reconnaissance battle on the #Zaliznyanskoye - #Vasyukovka line. Kiev fears a breakthrough of the defences in this area and an entry into the rear of the AFU grouping in Seversk agglomeration.

▪️ At the moment, paratroopers of #Ukraine's 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade and 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade are trying to retake lost positions in the direction of #Veseloye northeast of #Soledar and #Belogorovka* west of #Lisichansk.

⚠️ *Belogorovka is, according to other sources, still controlled by AFU, also MoD reported no takeover.
