🔹 In the #Ugledar Section, Russian troops with fire support again attacked in the direction of the city outskirts from the #Nikolskoye dachas. RF Armed Forces artillery hit #Vremevka, Bolshaya Novosyolka, Zolotaya Niva and #Bogoyavlenka. (Fig. 1)

🔹 On the #Donetsk Front, the Russian army attacks the Ukrainian garrison in #Maryinka. Both in the western part of the city itself and on its southern and northern outskirts. Artillery is working hard on the AFU positions.
➖ It is also shelling #Georgiyevka, #Nevelskoye, #Avdeyevka, #Veseloye and Nyu-York (#Novgorodskoye).
➖ The Ukrainian army has launched missile strikes on #Aleksandrovka, #Donetsk, #Yasinovataya and #Zaitsevo. (Fig. 2)

🔹 South of #Bakhmut, the Ukrainian army shelled #Kurdyumovka and #Kleshchiyevka.
⚠️ The Wagner PMCs, supported by artillery, attacked again in the direction of #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye), but without success.
➖ However, the "orchestrators" managed to advance into #Bakhmut itself. And from the south on the Ivangrad side, as well as on the eastern outskirts of the town.
➖ After the capture of #Paraskoviyevka, the "musicians" to the southwest of the village pushed through the AFU defence and reached #Yagodnoye. Thus, the Ukrainian garrison in #Bakhmut is also threatened by a reach from the northwest.
➖ The Wagner PMC is also conducting an assault near Dubovo-Vasilyevka.
➖ Slightly to the north, supported by artillery, it is attacking the AFU in #Zaliznyanskoye.
➖ And north of #Soledar, it tries to break the Ukrainian army's defenses near #Fedorovka and #Razdolovka.

🔹 In the Lugansk Direction, the RF Armed Forces again attempted to advance towards #Belogorovka. They also attacked from the direction of Shipilovka in the #Serebryanskoye forest area.

➖ Slightly to the north, Russian troops attempted to break through to #Makeyevka.

France has handed over the Akeron MP to Ukraine - Jean-Louis Thieriot, vice president of the French National Defence and Armed Forces Commission.

The Akeron MP is a man-portable, armoured vehicle-mounted ATC with a range of up to 4-5 km and enables three modes of target acquisition simultaneously:

- shoot-and-forget (similar to the FGM-148 Javelin);
- target acquisition beyond operator's line of sight after firing the missile (analog of Spike-NLOS);
- Manual targeting via two-way fiber-optic cable with redirection capability (Spike-LR analogue).

Its tandem warhead is multipurpose and, depending on the mode of operation, can penetrate up to 1,000 mm of homogenous armor behind a dynamic shield and up to 2 m of concrete wall or hit infantry with tungsten fragments up to 15 meters in radius.

The Akeron MP has the significant advantage over Dagvelin PTRCs, and simultaneously challenges our armored vehicles, in that it has an uncooled infrared seeker that does not require the operator to wait several seconds before firing. For the characteristics and features described, the manufacturers of the Akeron MP call it the 5th generation APC by its own classification for promotional purposes.

Zelensky prepares Ukrainians for Bakhmut surrender, fight for it suddenly ceases to be priority

Zelensky said in an interview with a number of Italian media outlets that Bakhmut is not worth defending to the last soldier as it turns out to be "not a particularly big city" and has nothing special to offer. Zelensky, who had recently been brave and bold and promising his citizens and soldiers to do everything possible to preserve strategically and symbolically important Bakhmut, abruptly went back down.

Apparently, assessing the real Ukrainian Army's situation near Bakhmut, the President suddenly began to value the lives of his soldiers abandoned by their commanders and said that Ukraine would approach the process intelligently and "fight as long as it is reasonable". However, Zelensky immediately tried to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the Western press, saying that the possible surrender of the city would in fact be part of a cunning plan to prepare a counterattack.
