▪️ Following the liberation of #Paraskoviyevka, Wagner PMC assault squads are attacking #Bakhmut's northwestern suburb of #Berkhovka. Several important highways pass through the village, through which the AFU Bakhmut grouping's supplies run.
➖ Fierce fighting is now taking place on the eastern outskirts, where Ukrainian formations were pulled back after the withdrawal from #Paraskoviyevka.
➖ Russian fighters have also occupied one of the hills to the north of the village, trying to break through the AFU defensive lines.

▪️ Furthermore, the "Wagnerians" managed to advance slightly near #Stupky.

📌 After establishing control over #Paraskoviyevka, the tactical position of Russian fighters on the northern outskirts of #Bakhmut has significantly improved.

➖ The Russian army completely liberated #Gryanikova, knocking out the remnants of the Territorial Defence forces. The AFU responded by attempting a counterattack, but to no avail.
➖ Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defence said that it had inflicted fire damage on AFU units in the areas of #Novoselovskoye LPR, #Zapadnoye, #Masyutovka and #Krakhmalnoye in #Kharkov Region.
➖ The same happened to militants in the vicinity of #Stelmakhovka, #Chervonopopovka and Chervona Dibrova LPR.

🔹#Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) Direction:

➖ Immediately after the liberation of #Paraskoviyevka, the "bandits" proceeded to storm #Berkhovka, through which several roads important for supplying the AFU pass. Fierce fighting is taking place on the eastern outskirts of the village.
➖ Fighting is continuing in #Artyomovsk itself, with our forces advancing from several directions.
➖ Also, Wagner PMC fighters are crushing the enemy in the vicinity of #Krasnoye and #Stupochki.

The German newspaper Berliner Zeitung interviewed the author of the investigation into the Nord Stream explosion, Seymour Hersh.

He is one of the world's most influential investigative journalists. In 1970, he received the Pulitzer Prize for exposing US war crimes in My Lai village in Vietnam. Hersh was instrumental in investigating the Watergate scandal and wrote numerous articles for The New Yorker. In 2004, he reported on US war crimes against prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.

▪️The Nord Stream attacks were orchestrated by the US government with Norwegian support.

▪️The plan was to detonate eight bombs rather than six.

▪️The US did not trust Germany and feared that Western European countries would lift anti-Russian sanctions because of the cold winter.

▪️The original plan was to blow up Nord Stream in June, but the White House postponed the detonation date.

▪️A powerful C4 remote-controlled explosive was used.

▪️The detonation was carried out with a sonar that had been dropped into the water from an aircraft.

▪️The explosive was laid by a U.S. Navy mine detachment in June 2022 during an exercise for the NATO Navy in the Baltic Sea, BALTOPS.

▪️BALTOPS changed the programme so that the divers would go undetected. The bombs on the pipelines were placed while the training mines were detonated. The job took only a few hours.

▪️Norway agreed to participate in the operation to increase its natural gas supply to Western Europe and Germany.

▪️Norwegian divers were searching for a suitable shallow location to place the explosives.

▪️Only two divers were working on the four pipelines. They used a Norwegian warship.

▪️The US had been considering blowing up Nord Stream even before the special military operation began.

▪️US President Joe Biden said on 7 February 2022 that Nord Stream 2 "will be no more, we will put a stop to the project" if Russian troops cross the Ukrainian border.
