Good afternoon! Bakhmut is in touch!
The situation in the city and its surroundings on February 17
1. In the north of the city in Paraskoviivka, fierce battles took place yesterday and during the night. Unfortunately, the enemy managed to advance deep into the settlement. The orcs' attack in the rear of our units in the direction of Berkhivka played its role.
2. Orcs are trying to force an offensive in the direction of Orikhove-Vasylivka and Dubove-Vasylivka. There are fierce battles with the use of all types of artillery. At night, one of the groups of orcs was destroyed during an attempt to advance to Orikhovo Vasilivka.
At the cost of heavy losses, the enemy will try to press the situation with Paraskoviivka and take it in the coming days. If successful, dirt roads in the north of the city in the direction of Sloviansk will come under physical and fire control, which will complicate the situation with logistics.
At the moment, our command has defeated the orks in the southwest near the Bakhmut-Kostyantynivka road. Everyone understood that we would try to make a counterattack there, but it still came as a "surprise" for the Orks.

🔹#Bakhmut Sector North:
▪️ Wagner PMC assault squads were able to advance deep into #Paraskoviyevka from the south at night due to the simultaneous attack on Berkhovka from both sides and the shackling of Ukrainian units.
▪️ Concurrently, a Russian advance towards Orekhovo-Vasilevka and Dubovo-Vasilevka, supported by artillery and MLRS, as well as by assault and army aviation, has begun.
▪️ Now the AFU is trying to hold back the line with all possible forces. In the next few days, armored personnel carriers from the #Ugledar site, which was in the reserve of the Ukrainian grouping, are expected to be deployed to the #Bakhmut area.
▪️ Furthermore, by 1 March, two battalions (about 800 men) from the newly formed 116th Mechanized Brigade of the recently created Army Corps are planned to be transferred by rail to #Krasnoye and #Bakhmut.
🔹#Bakhmut:
▪️ Positional fighting continues. Ukrainian formations are firing at areas where the Wagnerians are advancing using artillery and Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters.
🔹#Bakhmut Sector Southwest:
▪️ There is fierce fighting on the outskirts of #Krasnoye. Both sides are using barrel and rocket artillery. On the section of the highway to #Konstantinovka, the AFU conducted a counterattack, pushing back the Wagnerian assault squads, the road is still in the "grey zone".
▪️The rotation of personnel was carried out at the strongholds in Chasov Yar. Units of the 42nd Separate Composite Battalion have arrived and are equipping facilities for the defence of the town.

The clearing of the Krasnaya Gora - #Podgorodnoye - #Paraskoviyevka triangle will increase pressure on #Berkhovka, where fighting took place for the past few days, and secure a strong foothold in the north of #Bakhmut.
📌 Control of #Berkhovka, as well as the neighbouring village of #Yagodnoye, could leave the AFU without northern supply routes, which currently run through the #Berkhovka - #Khromovo line. In the long term, this would seriously hamper the AFU's ability to defend #Bakhmut.

🔹#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:
▪️ No significant changes took place here. Counterbattery fighting and redeployment of units.
➖ The AFU moved reserves to the #Dvurechnaya - #Kupyansk line and to #Sinkovka.
➖ In the #Ploshchanka area, the militants attempted to retake their lost positions, but were met with fire from the Russian army.
➖ Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) said that artillery and aviation strikes had been launched in the vicinity of #Gryanikovka, Liman Pervy (1), #Berestovoye in #Kharkov region and #Novoselovskoye in the LPR. In addition, AFU units in the areas of #Stelmakhovka, #Nevskoye and #Chervona Dibrova were hit.
🔹#Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) Direction:

⚔️ Situation on the Fronts for the past Day
🔹#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:
▪️ No significant changes took place here. Counterbattery fighting and redeployment of units.
➖ The AFU moved reserves to the #Dvurechnaya - #Kupyansk line and to #Sinkovka.
➖ In the #Ploshchanka area, the militants attempted to retake their lost positions, but were met with fire from the Russian army.
➖ Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) said that artillery and aviation strikes had been launched in the vicinity of #Gryanikovka, Liman Pervy (1), #Berestovoye in #Kharkov region and #Novoselovskoye in the LPR. In addition, AFU units in the areas of #Stelmakhovka, #Nevskoye and #Chervona Dibrova were hit.
🔹#Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut) Direction:
💀 Evgeny Prigozhin reported that the village of #Paraskoviyevka is completely under the control of Wagner PMC units. It was possible to advance deep into the village thanks to the attack on #Berkhovka from two sides.
➖ Our forces are also advancing towards Orekhovo-Vasilevka and Dubovo-Vasilevka.
➖ Positional fighting continues in #Artyomovsk.
➖ To the southwest, there is also fighting in the vicinity of #Krasnoye.
🔹#Zaporozhye Direction:
▪️ Near #Ugledar fighting acquires a positional character. Our people are consolidating in the dacha area to the south of the town, also at the moment the northern dachas are in the grey zone. Multi-storey buildings are under the control of the militants.
➖ MoD said operational and tactical aviation and artillery are operating in the areas of #Ugledar in the DPR, #Olgovskoye and #Magdalinovka in #Zaporozhye region.

🔹#Russia's Border Areas:
▪️ In the #Bryansk region, the AFU attempted to attack the airport in the regional centre. The attack was repelled by air defence forces, with no casualties or destruction.
▪️ In the #Kursk region, the enemy terrorists shelled the villages of #Gornal and #Guevo, as well as the village of #Krasnooktyabrsky.
▪️ In the #Belgorod region, the AFU terrorists struck #Shebekino and Novaya Tavolzhanka. Residential buildings and power lines were damaged and one woman was wounded.
➖ Russian air defences were triggered near #Belgorod, with no damage.
🔹#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):
▪️ Despite the absence of a change in the frontline, there are artillery and mortar duels in all areas.
➖ The AFU is expecting an offensive by the RF Armed Forces, additional defensive lines are being set up near #Kupyansk and artillery is being transferred. Furthermore, UAV reconnaissance activity is noted.
▪️ In the #Liman sector, AFU units attempted to retake lost positions near #Ploshchanka. Russian troops repulsed the attack, the enemy withdrew to the initial lines with losses.
🔹#Soledar (#Bakhmut) Direction (MAP):
▪️ Wagner PMC assault squads have taken #Paraskoviyevka, opening another direction for the attack on #Berkhovka, north of #Bakhmut. The expansion of the control zone allows increased pressure on #Bakhmut from the north.
➖ Russian forces, supported by artillery and aviation, are also advancing towards Orekhovo-Vasilevka and Dubovo-Vasilevka.
▪️ In the urban area of #Bakhmut, fierce fighting continues . Russian forces are pushing through the enemy defences in the northern, eastern and southern districts of the city.
▪️ Southwest of #Bakhmut, Russian assault squads have advanced close to the outskirts of #Krasnoye, advancing from the south and southeast.
🔹#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ In #Maryinka, heavy fighting continues west of Druzhba Avenue. Weather conditions make it difficult to use unmanned and classic aviation, which does not reduce the intensity of fighting.
▪️ The AFU terrorists continued indiscriminate shelling of the #Donetsk agglomeration. #Donetsk and #Makeyevka, among others, were hit by barrel artillery.

◾ Extended testimony of how they where deployed and then defeated by the Russian Army. They openly talk about the corruption and misbehaviour of the Ukrainian commanders, in the end they surrendered and where taking captive, they also speak of the treatment received.
