⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦💀 Fresh Footage & Report from #Bakhmut/#Artyomovsk Meat Grinder⚡️

📜 Destruction of AFU positions in houses in the southern and southwestern part of #Artyomovsk. These areas are on a hillside, so the "musicians" @orchestra_w work with direct fire from the Kornet anti-tank missile launcher.

They destroy military equipment on city roads (many of them as if in the palm of their hands) and places of accumulation of manpower - with the help of ground optical-electronic complexes one can monitor the movements of enemy groups.

🇮🇶🇺🇸🇺🇦🛩 On the rearmament of the Iraqi Air Force and the possible transfer of aircraft to Ukraine.

The other day, the US media reported on Iraq's plans to replace the fleet of Mi-17 transport helicopters with Bell 412s made in the US and Japan. The reason was allegedly a lack of spare parts for the Russian-made machines, which complicates their operation.

The problems with Iraqi air force components began long before the SSO. At the beginning of 2021, not only the Su-25 attack aircraft, but also the Chinese CH-4 attack drones were rendered completely inoperable for this reason.

However, under the current circumstances, the United States can also encourage the Baghdad authorities to give up the Russian-made aircraft in order to hand them over to Ukraine. Previously, the Americans did the same with Afghan Mi-17s.

🔻 What else can the Iraqi air force send to the AFU?

In addition to 19 Mi-8/17 multirole helicopters, the local air force also has some 20 Mi-35M attack helicopters in its arsenal. The equipment is relatively new and was acquired already after the US invasion in 2003.

In theory, all Su-25s received from Russia and Belarus could also go to Ukraine. The country's armed forces used them intensively in 2014-2017 to provide fire support to ground troops in battles against IS, but for several years now the planes have been grounded and not used in any way.

The Iraqi air force also possesses a dozen modern Mi-28N/UB attack helicopters. However, their transfer to the AFU is highly unlikely due to the impossibility of training flight personnel and the enormous potential difficulties in finding components.

So, will Baghdad really give all these helicopters to Ukraine?

On the face of it, the Iraqis really stand to gain from getting rid of the Russian-made aircraft. The problems with their maintenance did not start yesterday and will only get worse; the number of combat-ready aircraft will decrease even if other aircraft are dismantled for parts.

But even in such a situation, several pitfalls await Iraq:

The US is unwilling to supply the country with modern helicopters and aircraft. At best, Baghdad will receive machines of a different class; at worst, they will be unsaleable. Thus, instead of Mi-17s, the Iraqis want to receive light Bell 412s, which can carry guided missiles but have a much smaller payload.

The transfer of aircraft to Ukraine may be obstructed by pro-Iranian and opposition forces, such as supporters of the hated Ayatollah Muqtada al-Sadr (https://t.me/rybar/40507). They will try to play on the feelings of the population and make their rivals look like US puppets, exacerbating an already serious political crisis in the country.

Given the widespread support of the Russian Armed Forces and the SFO among pro-Iranian groups, the mere fact that the Iraqi authorities officially support the AFU on direct orders from the US will serve as a powerful cause of popular discontent.

It is therefore highly likely that the Baghdad authorities will not reject Washington's offer, but will engage in the usual Eastern bargaining for the most favourable terms.

The process will drag on, and it is quite possible that the Iraqis will end up delivering not the largest batch of vehicles.

However, the example of the attempts to rearm the Iraqi aviation fleet is revealing in itself and clearly demonstrates the US desire to collect materiel for subsequent transfer to the AFU.

And in the near future, it is clear that the Americans will make similar overtures to other states. For example, in Latin America: there are still intact stockpiles of Soviet and Russian weaponry.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Frontline #Summary for the Morning of 15 Jan 2023; pub. 07:02⚡️

🔹 In the Ugledar Sector
, Russian artillery hit AFU positions in Zolotaya Niva, #Prechistovka and #Bogoyavlenka.
On the ground, the RF Armed Forces are attempting to advance towards the city from the direction of #Nikolskoye dachas.
In the open terrain that prevails around the city, and with limited offensive resources, this is quite a difficult task. To put it mildly. (Fig. 1)

🔹 On the #Donetsk Front, Russian forces, supported by artillery, launched an assault in the area of #Pobeda.
They also attacked on the southwestern outskirts of #Maryinka. Artillery was firing at the western part of the city.
#Krasnogorovka, #Nevelskoye, #Pervomayskoye, #Sevenoye and #Avdeyevka also came under fire.
The AFU launched strikes against Donetsk, Makeyevka and Yasinovataya. (Fig. 2)

🔹 Southwest of #Bakhmut, the Ukrainian army counterattacked near #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye). It was partially successful.
Thus, fighting for the #Konstantinovka - #Bakhmut highway continues.
The Wagner PMC seeks to push through the Ukrainian defences on the eastern outskirts of (#Bakhmut) city.
And to the north, despite being effectively encircled, the AFU continue to resist in the #Paraskoviyevka area. They are being attacked from the south, east, north and northwest. They are also receiving artillery fire from the dominant heights in Krasnaya Gora.
North of #Soledar, the Wagner PMCs are advancing on #Fedorovka, #Razdolovka and #Veseloye. There is a progress in the area of the second of the above-mentioned settlements. (Fig. 3)

🔹 In the #Lugansk Direction, the RF Armed Forces again carried out offensive actions near #Belogorovka.
They also attacked in the direction of #Zarechnoye, #Nevskoye and near #Ploshchanka. In the latter case, they managed to push back the AFU positions. (Fig. 4)

Apparently the United States government is spending millions in lifting up the fighters, and creating a histerical situation and all for nothing. That's the level of paranoia reached by American society.

As I said before, the cost of one hour of flight of a fighter jet is approximately between 2000 and 5000 dollars, per hour, per aircraft. All because weather balloons.

Ukraine unlikely to get fighter jets anytime soon

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s hopes that Western backers will provide modern fighter jets — what he calls “wings for freedom” — have been met with discouragement, if not outright rejection, from Ukraine’s leading weapons suppliers.

In appeals to European leaders during his whirlwind trip to Britain, France and the European Union last week, Zelensky urged the immediate delivery of aircraft, preferably U.S.-made F-16s whose use is widespread among NATO allies, saying the fourth-generation fighter jet could end the war quickly.

Kyiv has been asking for advanced air power since the spring, so far to no avail. But experience has taught the Ukrainians that a “no” from the West is often not as firm as it initially appears. Western heavy artillery, precision missile launchers, sophisticated air defense and heavy tanks — all of which were deemed impossible to supply — are now on the battlefield or at least pledged for delivery.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🛟 Lancet Kamikaze Drone destroys BMK 2000 Boat⚡️

📜 The commando reconnaissance team spotted the BMK 2000 boat and as soon as the Ukrainian boat crossed the river and stood near the shore the Lancet immediately flew in to "get acquainted" with it. The Ukronazis certainly did not expect such hospitality.

📌 As a result, the entire group of mountain troops was destroyed 🇺🇦 ☠️

Coordenadas: 48.512398, 37.723904

🇬🇧🇷🇺🇺🇦Strikes on AFU facilities in Kostyantynivka

Russian troops today carried out at least three strikes on enemy positions in Kostyantynivka in the DNR.

One of the targets was the Krasny Oktyabr culture house, where, according to preliminary reports, Ukrainian formations were sheltering.

One of the photos from the arrival site shows brickwork protruding from the ground in front of the building, which may indicate that the structure has a solid basement where enemy fighters are stationed or ammunition is stored.

Coordinates: 48.513839, 37.686911

A local railway station was also hit. Judging by the scene footage the target could have been the outbuildings to the west of the site.

The size of these depots could well accommodate several vehicles or store ammunition from the railway station there.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Battle for #Maryinka - Situation until 12:00 on 15 Feb 2023⚡️

🔹 In #Maryinka, fighting continues within the city itself. The advance deep into the residential area through Druzhba Avenue is gradual due to the presence of equipped fortifications in multi-storey buildings.

▪️ At the moment, the Russian forces have changed their tactics in storming #Maryinka, moving to encircle the Ukrainian strongholds from the south and north. In the vicinity of the tyre-repair plant, the clearing of the enterprise's territory is almost complete and the advance towards Chapayev Street has begun.

▪️ In the north of the town, the RF Armed Forces squeezed the combined units of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade and the AFU's Territorial Defence militants from positions in the fields east of the farming bases and the pigsty, advancing from Geologichnaya Street towards the AFU forces entrenched in depots.

▪️ Furthermore, the Russian fighters improved their tactical position near #Krasnogorovka and #Pobeda by carrying out a successful sortie against positions of the 79th Brigade's paratroopers. Because of this, some forces were withdrawn from forward positions to spare ones.

📌 The battles for #Maryinka have been going on for several months, the squeezing of the AFU out of the city is complicated by dense urban development. This is the reason for the activation in the south and north of the city. This could allow encircling the large fortified area from two sides and forcing Ukrainian militants to abandon their positions.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Ugledar Section until 13:00 on 15 Feb 2023⚡️

🔹 Fierce fighting continues near #Ugledar in a dacha quarter southeast of the town. Marines of the 155th Brigade of the Pacific Fleet have slightly improved the situation, knocking out units of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade from several houses.

▪️ However, the situation remains unstable. The AFU has almost completely mined the approaches to #Ugledar and the settlement itself, protecting itself from an attack on the outskirts. To compensate for the losses, reinforcements have been deployed to the area of operations.

▪️ Furthermore, two tanks from the 1st Battalion of the 1st Tank Brigade arrived in #Ugledar. With the support of engineering forces of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade they are setting up fire positions for heavy armored vehicles.

❗️ Over the past few days at least three columns with personnel, armament and equipment have arrived from the #Liman sector to the area of #Mirnograd (#Dimitrova) and #Pokrovsk (#Krasnoarmeysk), probably from the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade.

Earlier we 👉 noted that part of the units departed in the direction of #Bakhmut to hold the Chasov Yar - #Krasnoye line, while the other part of one BTGr was 👉 transferred to #Bogatyr to reinforce the grouping near #Ugledar.

📌 Now the combat alignment and organization of communication between the assault groups of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade, 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade and 18th Battalion of the 35th Marines Brigade is underway. In the upcoming days, an AFU counterattack is planned in the dacha area with subsequent advance to the #Pavlovka - #Nikolskoye line.
