🚨 An air-raid alert was sounded in 404 from the morning - which means that the retaliatory strikes are back. The geraniums worked during the night and the missiles during the day. The main targets were the enemy's critical infrastructure in #Kiev, #Odessa, #Nikolayev, #Dnepropetrovsk, #Vinnitsa and #Zaporozhye regions.

Footage of BMPT "Terminator" operation in the vicinity of #Kremennaya has appeared online. (see on the map under number 3)
Russian artillery has fired on two AFU brigades in the areas of #Sinkovka, #Tymkovka in #Kharkov region and #Novoselovskoye in the LPR. Also, aviation and artillery hit militant units in the areas of #Yampolovka in the DPR and #Serebryanskoye forestry.

♦️#Zaporozhye Direction:

The Russian army continues to advance on #Ugledar and push the enemy into the town itself. Our forces have gained a foothold on the eastern outskirts and are gradually squeezing the militants out of their equipped positions. The AFU has already begun transferring reserves into the town, but now it will become more difficult for them as the RF Armed Forces have established fire control over the #Ugledar - #Pokrovskoye highway. (See on the map under number 1)

💥 Both our Aerospace Forces and air defence did their best. Fighter aircraft zeroed in on a Ukrainian Su-25 near #Andreyevka DPR. And in the #Ugledar sector, ground forces distinguished themselves by shooting down another Su-25.

Today Russian "HIMARS", or to be more precise, Tornado-S multiple rocket launchers, have worked on the enemy's targets. At last we have had the chance to see high-tech correctable ammunition on the frontline, especially mass-produced ammunition. (See on the map under number 4)

☠️ Yesterday, enemy militants, using five boats, attempted to land a landing on the left bank of the #Dnepr, but were met with Russian army fire. The outcome was summed up quickly and accurately - three boats were sunk on approach and the remaining SRG was annihilated near the village of #Korsunki in the #Kherson region. Russian troops began an assault on Ugledar.

Ugledar is of key importance for the Russian Federation, it is a strategically important point of communications in the south of Donbas, a border for the deployment of the future Ukrainian offensive on the Crimean Corridor.

The capture of Ugledar will significantly improve the strategic position of the Russian army in the Donbass, and will allow the defense to be deepened. The goal of the Russian command in the 2023 campaign is to capture the entire Donbas, or push our army away from the Crimean corridor. To capture Ugledar, the Russians concentrated their best forces - brigades of marines and airborne troops, ammunition stocks.

For us, the successful defense of Ugledar is a task of maximum losses to Russian elite brigades. We remember how the Russians tried to capture Vugledar for the first time in the fall, and stopped in the village of Pavlivka near the city. Lancet UAVs have effectively proven themselves over the past several months of SMO as a high-precision hitter against various types of weaponry, including towed artillery.

One of the most frequently hit targets for UAVs during the SMO has been the 155mm M777 howitzer. The M777 uses light alloys and hydraulics that ignite instantly on impact.

The Lancet's low power charge can put the entire gun out of action if it hits the weak point of the American howitzer, and it cannot be repaired in the field.

The destruction of the M777 in the #Liman area will reduce the combat capabilities of Ukrainian formations in the direction of #Kremennaya. Systematic search and defeat of firing positions allows ground forces to advance more effectively against AFU positions.

💥 On 26 January, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive missile attack, using high-precision long-range air- and sea-based armament, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, against the power facilities that operate Ukraine's defence industrial complex and transport system. The goals of the massive attack have been reached. All the assigned targets have been neutralised.

◽️ The attack has resulted in the frustration of armament and munition transportation to the operations area, including those sent by NATO countries. The production capacities of the entities, tasked to repair and restore the military hardware of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), have been disrupted.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.

💥 In Kupyansk direction, the artillery of the 'Zapad' Group of Forces has neutralised the manpower and hardware of the units from 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade near Peschanoye, and 14th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU near Sinkovka (Kharkov region).

💥 Operational-Tactical Aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralised 79 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 102 areas.
