He’s not wrong. Sanctions on Russia aren’t “free”, they’re destructive economic torpedoes, that do far more damage to authors. And Trump, in a rare flash of candor, just said it:
The Empire bleeds too. But before anyone gets too excited, let’s not forget the deeper truth.

This is the same man who gave a beautiful speech (he could barely read off the teleprompter without fumbling) in Riyadh about peace and the damage done by the "so-called nation builders" chaos wrought by the empire, and then greenlit Israel’s proxy war against Iran weeks later.
The same man who pretended to flirt with nuclear negotiations, only to help Israel weaponize that false diplomacy as cover for sabotage, assassination and war.

Trump’s foreign policy isn’t doctrine.
It’s circus soaked in cognitive dissonance.

And Russia knows it.

Moscow may nod politely, even welcome a pause in escalations, but behind the Kremlin doors, they remember Soleimani, they remember Mossad fingerprints over "Ukranian" drone attacks on Russia's strategic nuclear triad, the same playbook used for drones inside Iran. They remember US cynical negotiations with Iran as a rouse to lull Iran before Israel's Pearl harbor style attack. They remember Nord Stream. They know this man is agreement-incapable. He's schizophrenic.

Soon we’ll see the rebranding.
His supporters will call it “strategic ambiguity... Strategic schizophrenia.”
And we call it what it is:

Moscow has issued a warning that should echo through every chamber of power from Tel Aviv to Langley: Israel’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure risk plunging the world into nuclear catastrophe. The Russian Foreign Ministry didn’t mince words, calling the attacks not only illegal under international law, but a direct threat to global security.

Let that settle.

The so-called “Jewish state,” backed by a shrinking clique of Western accomplices, is now openly targeting what Iran has long declared, and what even Western intelligence grudgingly confirms, are peaceful nuclear facilities. And for what? A lie. A theatrical fiction that Iran is “moments away” from the bomb. The same tired script recycled every few years to justify war.

But this time, the stakes are nuclear. This time, Israel is striking what it claims it wants to prevent, dragging the region, and possibly the planet, into a spiral that once ignited, cannot be contained.

Moscow has laid the blame precisely where it belongs. The IAEA — supposedly an impartial nuclear watchdog, was manipulated, arm-twisted by the US, UK, France, and Germany into declaring Iran in breach of its obligations. That resolution wasn’t diplomacy. It was a pretext. A green light. A signal to Tel Aviv: do your dirty work

And Israel did.

But now the mask is off. Russia sees it. Much of the Global South sees it. Even some in the West are beginning to choke on the hypocrisy. Because this isn’t about non-proliferation. This is about regime change, oil, dominance, and distraction from the inevitable collapse of both hegemon and outpost. A last desperate attempt at the expansionist-supremacist dream.
