In the Starobelsk direction, the Russian Armed Forces struck Ukrainian positions in the west of the village of #Torskoye.

The enemy was identified using a drone: the operator noticed the movements of the AFU personnel between the fortifications. They were then covered by Russian artillery.

♦️#Orekhov Sector:

▪️ Soldiers of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the RF Armed Forces storm the Malye Shcherbaki - #Stepovoye defensive line of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. Russian fighters managed to dislodge the troops of the 2nd Battalion of the AFU's 9th Special Forces Regiment "Gepard" and liberate the village of #Lobkovoye, eliminating at least 15 Ukrainian militants and taking control of three enemy strongholds.

▪️ Eastward, Russian fighters are advancing on the #Orekhov suburbs near #Novoandreyevka, #Novodanilovka and Malaya Tokmachka. Taking control of these settlements will allow to surround the city from the south and southeast.

📌 #Orekhov is one of the key transport hubs in this section, and its liberation will greatly facilitate the supply of Russian troops on the line of contact and enable the strengthening of positions before further advancing towards #Zaporozhye.

♦️#Pologi Section:

▪️ Units of the 5th Combined Arms Army have taken the dominant heights near the village of #Malinovka east of #Gulyaypole. At least 20 militants were eliminated during the offensive. For the time being, the RF Armed Forces are consolidating on the liberated lines.

▪️ The Ukrainian command also expects a resumption of the assault on the #Belogorye - #Charivnoye line, where Territorial Defence units, reinforced by ATGM crews, are deployed.

♦️#Ugledar Sector:

▪️ Russian reconnaissance teams have uncovered Ukrainian army positions in the forest belt near the village of #Elizavetovka. Spot artillery strikes by the RF Armed Forces hit the artillery firing positions together with the personnel.

♦️#Maryinka:

▪️ Positional fighting continues in the western outskirts of the town, with the AFU trying to halt the advance of Russian troops. One of the companies of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade was destroyed completely.

▪️ Nevertheless, the Ukrainian command is moving additional forces into the area. This indicates plans to continue maintaining defences in that direction.

🇲🇱🇷🇺 New military aid package from Russia to Mali

An official ceremony was held yesterday at the presidential pavilion at Bamako International Airport in the presence of Russian Ambassador Igor Gromyko to hand over a new batch of Russian arms to the Malian military. According to local sources, the Malian Air Force received:

➖One Su-25 attack aircraft;
➖Six L-39 combat training aircraft;
➖Two Mi-8 helicopters.

The commander of the Malian air force, General Alou boy Diarra has rightly described the Russian equipment received as "an unprecedented modernization of the Malian forces". Apparently, the latest batch of military assistance was the largest since the beginning of cooperation between Mali and Russia.

Thus, since October 2021, the Malian military has received a total of four Mi-17 helicopters, four Mi-35 helicopters, two Mi-8 helicopters, ten L-39 combat training aircraft and five Su-25 units. Against the background of France, which refuses to supply its satellites with the necessary equipment, Russia looks a more serious and reliable military ally for the African countries.
