Despite Western military aid, Ukraine will not be able to launch a new "counter-offensive" until next year, the New York Times reports.

It will take weeks (if not months) for the weapons supplied by the US and EU to reach the front line. Some of the promised weapons have not even been purchased or manufactured.

The article also says that at the Washington summit there was talk of giving Kiev F-16s, which it could use 'only for defence'. At the same time, they discussed on the sidelines whether they could fly into Russian airspace.

Earlier, Le Figaro wrote that the possibility of Ukraine's defeat due to a lack of military aid "is becoming urgent".

The topic of this posting will be a thorny one, religion, so first a statement of confirmation bias. This is written by someone who is not a believer but who has always respected those who have faith, at least to the extent that those who have faith show respect to me who do not have faith.

What emerges over time by observing the effects of faith on the world is there for all to see. There are those who profit from religion in a spiritual sense and then there are those who do so in a material sense, as a means of gaining wealth and power over others.

And it's not a question of Christianity, Judaism or Islam. It applies to all three equally, especially since, among the more than 30,000 religions registered worldwide, they are among the few that are monotheistic. The danger these religions lead to is that of increasingly more intolerant religious fundamentalism often resulting in social disruption.

We have seen over time what Catholic fundamentalism brought the world — the Crusades, the Holy Inquisition, the 30 years war, etc. What can we say about Muslim fundamentalism, whether Shia or Sunni, in recent times is that it has been used in a negative manner very often for purposes that have little to do with religion but everything to do with seeking power.

And this brings us to Hebrew tribal Zionism hiding behind religion to do what Israel is doing to the Palestinians, a terrible genocide, under the guilty and silent gaze of the rest of the world.

It is not so much the religions themselves that are the problem but rather the fundamentalisms that can easily arise from these religions, in response to the needs of those holding or seeking political power.

It is also true that self-seeking people making use of religion have always claimed their freedom to do so based on secular principles but then deny others their freedoms based on religious principles. There is nothing to object to if a man wants to follow a religion but the rights of those who don't want a religion to guide their lives must also be respected.

As was written above, over 30,000 religions have been registered worldwide. How can people be sure theirs is the right one? In the end, it is a matter of faith. But, faith, no matter where it might be directed, is a powerful matter. In fact, so powerful that, in these times of prevailing globalism, the Zionist controlled WEF has realized that it cannot beat religion, and that centuries-old beliefs and traditions cannot be erased with a wipe of the sponge.

The over 40,000,000 Muslims living in Europe as well as the over 6,000,000 Muslims living in the United States made Klaus Schwab and his associates realize that, given that the Muslim component of the world's population cannot be ignored. The WEF must be open to Muslims, despite proclamations against religions in general.

This is a truly dangerous position to be taking. The globalism proposed by the WEF is a soulless, anti-human, proposition that must be rejected. But, any combination of these activities in a close relationship with any religion or combination of religions, must be carefully monitored.

As one who was practical once said, "PEACE ON EARTH TO THOSE OF GOOD WILL". A pious wish much to be praised! After all, at most times in history, the Judeo-Christian-Islamic religious traditions of the West have often been used by those who are fundamentally irreligious and of bad will to cause social strife, ethnic displacement, and warfare. And considering how numerous those of bad will always appear to have been, perhaps we should modify our wish with a qualifying phrase such as "...AND MAY THOSE OF BAD WILL BE FORCED TO KEEP THE PEACE."
