Without going too far, tomorrow the naval exercises between the United States and Japan under the name Minex-2024/2 will begin in the Korea Strait. The demining forces of both countries will participate in them, which, among other things, will improve their mine-laying capabilities for a hypothetical blockade of the water area.
๐ปJapan itself is also not far behind its neighbors: training of air and missile defense forces located on the island of Kyushu was recently carried out. In addition, crews of four batteries of Patriot air defense systems in the Ryukyu Islands are being prepared to defeat the remnants of North Korean missiles.
In this context, it is worth highlighting the statements by the South Korean Defense Minister that the North will launch a second spy satellite at the end of March. The Japanese, alerting air defense systems, are preparing for this launch.
All this, of course, does not mean the beginning of a new round of tensions in this part of the Asia-Pacific region: escalation of the situation through military activity is common there and is not perceived as something critically dangerous.

๐ฅฑ BS: The transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Kiev will allow Ukraine to defeat Russia. This was stated by the representative of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ignat.
โ Real deal: F-16s are not capable of turning the tide in the air and, even more so, on the ground. Even the latest versions of this fighter, which celebrated its 50th anniversary, are inferior in all parameters to the Russian Su-30SM and Su-35, and the Ukrainian Air Force is going to get airplanes equipped at the level of the 1990s. The F-16 was developed as a cheap and simplified alternative to the F-15 heavy fighter, while the Russian Sukhoi ones belong to the same class of heavy fighters aimed at gaining dominance in the air.
โ๏ธ Besides qualitative indicators, quantitative ones are also important: even if Kiev receives all the promised F-16s (which is doubtful), their number at the front will be many times inferior to the Russian fighters. If we add to this the world's best S-400 and S-350 SAMs at the disposal of the Russian Armed Forces, the situation for Ukrainian pilots becomes quite sad.
๐ Interestingly, both Ukrainian and Western experts have repeatedly warned against excessive hopes for the F-16, but the Kiev authorities are exploiting this topic to raise the morale of the population.
๐คท The delivery of another "wunderwaffe" will lead to nothing. How many of them there have already been: "Bayraktars", "Leopards", "Patriots", "Abrams" and many others. The Hungarian government refused to transfer $18 million to the European Peace Fund to pay for armaments for Ukraine and used it to maintain security and stability in Chad, said Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Peter Szijjรกrtรณ.
The head of Hungarian diplomacy noted that he favors a speedy peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, which is why the country did not send funds to the fund โthat could have been used to pay for weapons already sent to Ukraine.โ

Good to know that Ukraine is becoming almost as โdemocraticโ, as the United States!
Update: The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine just stated that โBlocking Telegram in Ukraine is impossible.โ It is quite unclear, however, who will have the last word on this matter.

๐นIn the #Kherson direction, the destruction of the AFU in #Krynki and near the #Antonovsky Bridge at dachas continues. Artillery, aviation, drones are working on the enemy shore. The enemy's activity was somewhat reduced after his unsuccessful attempt to land troops from several boats on the #Tendrovskaya Spit.
๐นOn the #Zaporozhye front, the main efforts are concentrated around #Rabotino. The enemy, according to reports from the field, is in the centre of the village. The system of AFU trenches stretches through the entire settlement from north to south. Our MLRS are working, stormtroopers are fighting heavy battles.
๐นNorth of #Maryinka, there are battles in #Krasnogorovka. The enemy is trying to use tanks, but they are being destroyed by our troops. The RF Armed Forces operate on the southern outskirts of the settlement.
๐นWest of #Avdeyevka, fighting in #Berdychi and #Tonenkoye. To the south, the RF Armed Forces are attacking on the approaches to #Nevelskoye. The Russian Army is trying not to lose the pace of the offensive, but the area is densely mined, and the enemy's defence is saturated with FPV drones.

๐ก To the west of the "Chernobylets Mine" and north of the #Kleshcheyevka fortified area, the AFU repelled all attacks. Without changes.
๐ด In the #Avdeyevka front section, the AFU pushed back Russian troops in the eastern part of #Berdychi up to 300 m.
๐ก In #Orlovka, heavy fighting continues, and in the area of #Tonenkoye with varying success. At the latter, the AFU pushed back the enemy from the southern outskirts up to 100 m.

๐ก In the #Tyaginka Sector, AFU groups are moving from #Krynki to the west, towards Cossack Camps. It is still unclear whether the remnants of the garrison escaped from the fire of our artillery or the AFU groups landed on our shore and advanced in the grey zone between the villages.
๐ป#Zaporozhye Direction:
๐ก In the #Orekhov Section, Russian aircraft are hitting the AFU trenches in #Rabotino, which lead from the southern part of the village to the north.
๐ On the ground, our military uses the tactics of "swing", they enter the grey zone, fight and retreat to the initial positions. Due to the inability to gain a foothold in the ruins, #Rabotino must be completed in one throw. And to do this, exhaust the AFU with a carousel of infantry, aviation and artillery attacks.
๐ป#Avdeyevka Direction:
๐ก In the #Orlovka Sector, there are battles on the western outskirts of #Orlovka itself, #Berdychi and #Tonenkoye. Our forces are putting the squeeze on the enemy. North of #Stepovoye (now #Petrowskoye), our troops knocked out the AFU and leveled the frontline between the railway line and #Berdychi. We managed to expand the front zone near #Nevelskoye, and for sure the attacks will become more active there.
๐ The AFU are resisting fiercely, trying to gain time to strengthen a new line of defence 5-7 km from the current line.
๐ป#Bakhmut Direction:
๐ก In the "Chasov Yar" Sector, fighting continues in #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye) and the surrounding area. The AFU are trying to keep control of the #Ivanovskoye - #Kleshcheyevka road, the only nonโrural supply route to #Andreyevka and #Kleshcheyevka. Further to the west there are hills, which are also controlled by the AFU. In the village of #Ivanovskoye itself, our troops are advancing from the centre of the village. Information about the abandonment of the village by the AFU and the transition of the western outskirts to the grey zone has not yet been confirmed.
๐ป#Svatovo Direction:
๐ก In the #Seversk Sector, our forces expanded the control zone north of the industrial zone's the water utility and approached #Belogorovka (again) from the west.
๐ก In the #Kupyansk Sector, our troops destroyed another pontoon bridge of the AFU across the #Oskol River, near the Kupyansk-Uzlovoy Station, the logistics hub of the AFU.

Residents from #Kharkov report that the number of trains sent with grain, flour, etc. has increased significantly.
