The AFU lost up to 45 Troops and 2 pickups.
Counterbattery warfare hit 1 German Panzerhaubitze 2000, 3 Gvozdika SAUs, and 1 US M119 gun.
โซ๏ธIn Donetsk direction, the Yug Grouping repelled 1 assault group attack of the 42nd Mechanised Brigade close to Bogdanovka (DPR), and fire defeated units of the 28th Mechanised and 241st Territorial Defence Brigades near Kurdyumovka and Krasnoye (DPR), and improved positions along the frontline.
The enemy lost over 395 troops, 3 tanks (incl. 1 German Leopard), 3 US M113 APCs, 4 AFVs, and 9 MVs.
Counterbattery warfare destroyed 1 Polish Krab, 1 Gvozdika SAUs, 1 D-20, and 1 D-30 howitzers.

AL QAEDA AND ISIS PRESENCE IN YEMEN

When people hear the word Al Qaeda, they think of the 2001 destruction of the World Trade Center. People might also possibly remember that, after spending several billion dollars searching for the alleged mastermind, Osama bin Laden, he was eventually found in Pakistan, assassinated by the United States, and immediately dumped in the Indian Ocean in what was euphemistically called a burial at sea.
Both the Taliban and Al Qaeda were products of the America's not-so-secret war to drive the Soviet Union out of Afghanistan. When the Soviet Union did withdraw, Taliban, being indigenous, took power. Al Qaeda also remained in honorable exile from Saudi Arabia.
Taliban imposed Islamic law and destroyed the Buddha statues of Bamiyan, for which they were vilified, but not punished. They also stopped poppy production and, thereby, the illegal supply of opium, so much needed to maintain the growing opioid crisis in the United States and to fund intelligence agency off-budget activities. For this, there was deadly silence and, then the 9/11 World Trade Center affair, for which, from day one, without any evidence whatsoever, Afghanistan was invaded with the excuse that it was because they were hosting Mr. bin Laden who was clearly the mastermind. Many months later, it was claimed that a tape of admittedly poor quality had been found in which Mr. bin Laden had admitted to being responsible. After a long period of secret "expert" investigation of a tape that was never made publicly available, the "experts" confirmed that the voice was his. Being eventually assassinated, Mr. bin Laden's side of the story will never be known.
Mr. bin Laden's father was a Saudi billionaire from a family with origins in Yemen and many people recruited for Al Qaeda came from Yemen. It was only natural that in 2001 some should regroup in Yemen, where, having bitter feelings against both America and the Saudi government, they eventually entered into the complicated history of warfare afflicting the modern history of that nation where the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates all intervened in support of an internationally recognized Saudi Arabian puppet government that now still "rules" a portion of southern Yemen from a luxury hotel suite in Riyadh. Israel's contribution was to introduce ISIS to provide intelligence community money laundering services. Iran, on the other hand, supported Ansar Allah (=the Houthis) directly and Al Qaeda indirectly.
Eventually, things settled down with Ansar Allah in control of the north and the south being divided between the Riyadh hotel puppet regime and Al Qaeda. ISIS apparently still has a money laundering presence connected with the now rapidly disappearing Afghani opium trade and the booming weapons-for-gold smuggling that we now see in Africa.
Google and Wikipedia make getting reliable information about Al Qaeda in Yemen extremely difficult. It seems that Al Qaeda cooperates with Ansar Allah in trying to rid Yemen of ISIS. It also seems that behind-the-scenes contacts exist now with Saudi Arabia which has made no effort to destabilize either Ansar Allah or Al Qaeda during the recent 7 October 2023 Black Swan War. As for Al Qaeda, it has focused on providing areas it controls with a reliable water supply and on promoting food security. As such, Al Qaeda controlled territory in the south, like that of Ansar Allah in the north, seems to have achieved popular support. And, it now looks as if at least two internationally recognized countries, one representing Al Qaeda and one Ansar Allah, will eventually emerge.

CNN writes that the Ukrainian military retreated in panic - one platoon escaped, leaving about 300 wounded in the city.
"There was zero visibility outside. It was just about survival. A kilometer across the field. A bunch of blind kittens guided by a drone. Enemy artillery. The road to Avdiivka is filled with Ukrainian corpses," CNN quoted one Ukrainian fighter as saying.
The same soldier was told by his command that the wounded would not be evacuated.
The sister of one of the Ukrainian fighter said her brother was thrown into position with broken legs. He was able to call his sister and tell her that the command promised to send a car for him and other wounded. But it never arrived.

๐นIn #Kherson Direction, the AFU has become more active on the islands near the Cossack Camps. They are probably looking for a loophole for landing. From the right bank the AFU is supported by mortars and a tank. (โ ๏ธShoygu said that #Krynki has come under our control and cleanup operations are underway.)
๐นIn #Zaporozhye Direction, the positions of the parties in #Rabotino, are located literally a hundred meters from each other, with ongoing fighting. Our forces occupied important heights between #Rabotino and #Verbovoye, significantly complicating AFU maneuvers. Our troops are also hitting key AFU strongholds in the south of #Rabotino. The enemy, in turn, shows footage of our prisoners from the western outskirts of the village (โ ๏ธ and reported on heavy Russian losses west of the village).
๐นIn #SouthDonetsk Direction, our forces are moving from the #Sladkoye side, trying to cut the AFU supply route for #Ugledar. North of #Shevchenko (a new area of activities), our troops carried out an attack, suffered ๐ losses in armored vehicles, but were able to advance. (โ ๏ธOur army took #Pobeda village, as it is reported from the field). ๐นIn the #Bakhmut Direction, the AFU state the most powerful Russian pressure on #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye) and #Bogdanovka with multiple superiority in artillery.
๐นIn #Svatovo Direction, on the #Seversk front the situation is not so positive. Our units have retreated from the outskirts of #Belogorovka and from the chalk quarry, now our Solntsepeks are working on the AFUshniks who have returned to their positions. In the #Kupyansk sector, the AFU are redeploying equipment from the #Kharkov region, incl. German IFVs, in response to our significantly intensified air bombing. In the area of #Sinkovka, our troops are conducting artillery preparation, yesterday the enemy tried to counterattack, unsuccessfully and even lost its initial position.

In the area of #Sinkovka, our troops are conducting artillery preparation, yesterday the enemy tried to counterattack, unsuccessfully and even lost its initial position.
๐ฅIn #Donetsk, there are again dead and wounded. Air defences shot down 2 drones in the #Bryansk and #Kaluga regions.
๐ฏOur Aerospace Forces struck the location and headquarters of the AFU in #Chuguyev. Explosions occured in the #Dnepropetrovsk region. Preliminarily, a blow on the workshop of the Yuzhmash Plant. Our troops also hit military and industrial facilities in #Kremenchug, #Nikolayev and #Zaporozhye regions.
