🔹In the #Ugledar Section, Russian troops advanced 1km towards #Vodyanoye (not to be confused with the settlement of the same name on the Donetsk direction). The goal is to reach the rear of the AFU in the town. In fact, this is the junction with the #Donetsk direction south of #Novomikhaylovka.
💥 The AFU is under attack in #Rovnopol, #Staromayorskoye, #Blagodatnoye, Zolotaya Niva, #Prechistovka and #Ugledar.

1️⃣ At least 50 people have been killed in Israeli air and sea attacks on Rafah tonight, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
2️⃣Israel’s planned ground offensive on Rafah will “blow up” the captive exchange negotiations, the Al-Aqsa television channel quoted a senior Hamas leader as saying on Sunday.
3️⃣ US President Joe Biden tells Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu that a military ground assault would need a “safety” plan for more than 1 million people sheltering in Rafah.
4️⃣ A shipment with a month’s supply of food for Gaza is being blocked in Israel’s Ashdod Port, says UNRWA head Philippe Lazzarini.
5️⃣Australian senator David Shoebridge has decried the bombardment on Rafah and questioned the timing while viewers in the United States watch the Super Bowl. “The attack on Rafah happening at 2am Gaza time while the US is watching the Superbowl is utterly horrific and devastating,” said Shoebridge.
6️⃣ The Wafa news agency has more details on the areas of Rafah targeted by bombardment from Israeli warplanes and navy ships tonight.They include:
◾The Al-Rahma mosque in Al-Shaboura and Al-Huda mosque in the Yabna camp where dozens of people were sheltering.
◾Central Gaza near the headquarters of the Palestinian Red Crescent.
Areas close to the border with Egypt.

Having re-watched Tucker CarIson’s interview with President Putin, here is yet another takeaway:
In front of millions of viewers, President Putin gave Tucker a lot of information about what, when, and with whom, among Wester leaders, he had discussed Russia’s security concerns. All of this information has always been open but virtually unknown to the Western public. Now Tucker has to decide whether he should either publicly verify and confirm this information, thus exposing himself to potential danger, or lose his reputation for journalistic integrity. For Tucker, there are no other options.
Very professionally done, President Putin! Nothing less was expected, of course!

Four generations of the Syrsky family
Here are a few facts we've collected about the new Ukrainian commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky. Two conclusions we ourselves have drawn from this story:
1⃣ We can now understand why Dmitry Medvedev is disgusted
at Syrsky's biography
2⃣ This family history clearly shows why the Russia-Ukraine conflict is, in fact, a CIVIL WAR.
😎 Syrsky's eldest son, Anton, is of military age and is in Australia 🤷
👿 Alexander Syrsky himself was born in Vladimir region of the Soviet Russia and graduated from Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School. He moved to the Soviet Ukraine in 1980s. As a military commander in charge of the 2014-2015 "anti-terrorist operation" he was never particularly successful. And in today's Ukrainian army he is know as "the butcher". However, he apparently has a good personal relationship with Zelensky and has won his trust.
👨👩👦 Syrsky's parents, brother and other relatives live in Russia. His father is a retired colonel of the Russian Armed Forces.
Prior to the special military operaton, Syrsky's parents were active on social media, posting patriotic content. The photo above shows them taking part in the "Immortal Regiment" marche on the Victory Day in 2019. The couple proudly wears St. George ribbons, the symbol of victory over fascism (banned in Ukraine).
🪖 Syrsky's grandfather fought against the Nazis and was honored by the USSR. According to RT:
"Prokopy Syrsky was born in 1906. In 1941, he was drafted to the front from Tyumen region. In December 1942, he fought on the North-Western Front, discovered and together with his coworkers destroyed the enemy who was hindering the advance of the infantry."
Among Syrsky's grandfather's awards are the Medal of Valor, the Medal for Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the Patriotic War of the II degree.

The Ukrainian command forbade Syrsky to be Russian
The General Staff published an official appeal calling for Russian media reports that the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a Russian with a Soviet past to be considered “misinformation.”
The General Staff did not specify whether similar reports in Western media should be considered disinformation.
