Herod the Great, created King of the Jews by the Roman Senate in either 39 or 40 BCE, was the son of a very successful Judaic convert of Idumaean Arab descent. Herod's mother was a princess of the Arab Nabatean Kingdom. However, for political reasons, he was raised in the Judaic religious faith. Though never accepted as a real Jew by his subjects, during his long reign, he came to rule a kingdom almost as large as that of David and Solomon. Though most famous among Christians as a baby-killer, he undertook many important building projects that later helped shape the history of Palestine. The most important in historical terms was his total rebuilding and enlarging of the Second Temple, which, if historians were unbiased (which they never are), should be called the Third Temple. In order to make this possible, his engineers had to significantly enlarge what people popularly call Temple Mount by building a huge retaining wall. In the early second century, as part of the process of putting down the rebellious Judaic subjects of the then Roman province of Judaea, the Romans completely tore down all of the buildings on Temple Mount and ethnically cleansed the province of practicioners of Judaism by sending all believers who could be rounded up as slaves to various parts of the Roman Empire, but for the most part to Italy. All that remained of Temple Mount, indeed of Jerusalem as a whole, was the retaining wall built by the engineers of Herod the Great at his command. Though built by a man of mostly Arab blood who was related by marriage and blood to many other Middle Eastern royal families who were not Judaic, King Herod's Temple Mount retaining wall came to be considered the holiest site of Judaism. Such are the whimsies of history, which constantly plays jokes on humanity.

Initially, delivery was planned around the New Year, but has now been postponed to the second quarter.
Six Ukrainian pilots are currently undergoing training to fly the F-16 in Denmark.
At the end of August, the Netherlands announced its readiness to transfer 42 American F-16 fighters to Ukraine, Denmark promised Kiev 19 such aircraft. US authorities approved this step. Kiev expressed hope that Ukraine would receive fighter jets in the first half of 2024. In turn, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated that this would happen no earlier than the spring.

The West has allowed Zelenskyy to set up a 'concentration camp' to mobilise another 500,000 Ukrainians - former adviser to ex-president Kuchma, Oleg Soskin.
Washington and its allies need manpower to contain Russia. But the Ukrainians themselves will not go to the slaughter. So force will be used. The West has promised to turn a blind eye to the lack of respect for human rights. Half a million more Ukrainians will be sent into the 'meat grinder' in the east of the country.
The mobilisation is illegal, but in this situation no one in the West cares. They have always treated Ukrainians as biomass with a tendency to revolt. By taking millions of children and women from Ukraine, the EU will improve its demographic situation. As for the men - they are simply superfluous and their disposal is inevitable.

Of the 200,000 professional soldiers Kiev had in February 2022, almost all have been killed or wounded.
This was stated by the commander of the NATO training mission in Marlov, who has been heading the EU training command for Ukraine in Germany for 14 months.
"Of the 200,000 professional soldiers available as of February 2022, an overwhelming number have now fallen or been wounded. The overwhelming number of AFU soldiers on the front lines today are civilians or, at best, reservists," he explained.

“The Navy has so few sailors that it has to decommission ships to staff new frigates”: The British armed forces are faced with the fact that no one in the country wants to serve.
“The Royal Navy has so few sailors that it is having to decommission two warships to man its new class of frigates. In particular, in 2024, the frigate HMS Westminster, which was recently repaired at great expense, as well as the frigate HMS Argyll will be decommissioned.
The crews of the ships will be reassigned to the new Type 26 frigates. Such measures are taken against the backdrop of the fact that London is experiencing a serious personnel crisis, and the Navy is faced with a sharp reduction in the influx of recruits into service. In total, the country's Ministry of Defense ordered eight frigates of a new type; they will become the most modern anti-submarine warships of the British Navy. The first such vessel will join the fleet no earlier than 2028.”
