๐นIn #Kherson Direction, our army is diligently worsening the situation of the AFU. Based on reports from the field, our troops are not giving the enemy the opportunity to rotate. The next boats on the #Dnieper were hit. Yesterday, our anti-aircraft gunners shot down an Mi-8 helicopter near #Tyaginka. Despite these point successes, the situation for our army remains difficult. Our military cannot suppress the Ukrainian artillery, which is in full force on the other bank. The AFU shell the rear settlements on the left bank. By morning, three people were seriously wounded on the #Alyoshki - #Radensk motorway. A second drone strike attacked an ambulance that had travelled to the site. North of #Stepovoye, ours have consolidated to the west of the railway tracks.

๐นIn the #Soledar direction, Russian troops concentrated their main efforts on entering the operational space for a further assault on Chasov Yar. In recent days, the RF Armed Forces managed to advance to the southeastern outskirts of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka and reach the eastern outskirts of #Bogdanovka.
๐นIn the #Avdeyevka sector, units of the RF Armed Forces managed to dislodge Ukrainian formations from the landings west of the railway tracks near #Stepovoye (โ ๏ธ#Petrovskoye on Rybar maps). And on the southern flank, Russian servicemen eliminated the last centre of resistance of the AFU in the Vinogradniki Gardening Community.
๐น#Maryinka has been almost completely cleared of the AFU. The enemy controls about 1 percent of the settlement's territory. For the long awaited liberation of the town, it remains to clear the territory of the agricultural enterprise located on the outskirts and to reach the end of Ivana Franko Street.

โช๏ธ Kiev has lost about 4,330 militants and 11 tanks, including 1Leopard, in different directions over the week, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said;
โช๏ธ Over the week, 82 Ukrainian militants were captured and voluntarily surrendered, MoD said;
โช๏ธ Russian air defence forces shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter within the day, intercepted a Tochka-U missile, two S-200 missiles and 119 drones during the week, MoD said;
โช๏ธ All attempts of the enemy to land on the islands and the left bank of the #Dnieper River were foiled in the #Kherson direction, the AFU lost 17 boats, MoD said;
โช๏ธ The AFU fired 3 long-range rockets towards #Mariupol at 00:25, the #DPR said;
โช๏ธ The leader of a Western country has sent signals to Moscow three times in the past six months through different channels about the need to hold a meeting on #Ukraine and European security issues, Lavrov said, without naming him;
โช๏ธ The longer the military actions in #Ukraine continue, the more difficult will be the conditions under which peace talks can start, Lavrov said.

Specifics of battles on the islands and in the Dnieper floodplain

โAppetite comes with eating, and skill grows with experience. The specificity of battles on the islands and in the Dnieper floodplain is dense vegetation, dense bushes even in winter. At the same time, it is impossible to dig a deep trench.
Therefore, the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sets up observation posts in the form of beds camouflaged in the bushes. When our observers manage to identify them with the help of thermal imagers, motorized infantry of the 3rd battalion, 28 so far, 70 divisions strike with the help of armored personnel carriers, using speed and maneuverability, and shooting from closed firing positions, so as not to come under enemy artillery fire from the other side.
The enemy simply does not have time to identify and aim at such a fast, maneuverable target.
We work at night to adjust our observers. The ones with a strong word, they go to the shoreline knee-deep in icy water. This is now infantry warfare using its strengths. We are nullifying the combat potential of the last marine brigades, which the Kiev regime is throwing into a bridgehead on our bank of the Dnieper, for the sake of begging money from the West.โ
