The American mercenary firm, Forward Observations Group (FOG), previously known for its presence in Ukraine, has claimed to have active members engaged in combat inside Gaza on behalf of Israel, Sputnik has learned.
FOG's official social media accounts have posted numerous photos and videos from Israel, including the southern territories near the Gaza border and the Gaza Strip itself. Some of the images show equipment decked out with both US and Ukrainian flags.
Since March 2022, FOG members have made multiple visits to Ukraine. The company openly acknowledges its involvement in fighting alongside the Kiev regime, namely, in the battle for Severodonetsk.
Forward Observations Group was officially registered as a private company in the state of Nevada on October 15, 2020. It was founded by Derrick Bales, a former US soldier who has served in Afghanistan.

▪️ Since evening, Geranium UAVs carried out strikes in #Odessa and #Nikolayev regions, explosions were heard in #Uman, #Cherkassy region, and drones were recorded over #Kirovograd region. 🔹In the #Kherson-#Crimea Direction, there was counter fighting in #Krynki. The AFU are trying to gain a foothold in the forest plantation.⚠️ Without success. Their positions are under heavy fire from Russian artillery and aviation. At the same time, the RF Armed Forces are still unable to eliminate their springboard on the left bank of the #Dnieper.
💥 The AFU is also under attack in #Ochakov, #Kherson, #Antonovka, #Novotyaginka, #Tyaginka and #Lvovo.

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, Russian troops managed to reach #Novomikhaylovka.⚠️ Heavy fighting is going on. The RF Armed Forces have also advanced in the northern part of #Maryinka.⚠️ There is no talk of full control over the city. With the support of long-range weapons, the Russian forces have carried out assaults near #Pervomayskoye, towards #Tonenkoye, near #Severnoye (a settlement west of Avdeyevka), in the industrial zone southeast of the city, near the Coke Plant northeast of the city, #Stepovoye (not to be confused with the settlements of the same name in the Zaporozhye and Ugledar directions) and #Novokalinovo.⚠️ The AFU hold their positions.
